Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.
No comment. To each their own.

but the thing is they go away after a day or two.
never last too long.
OMG i have the most embarrasing story....
my mom went to the market for some food and when they rang up the price she pulled out from her pocket a credit card and was about to pay when the cashier starts loking at her kinda funny. she hadn't even taken the card my mom was holding and then my mom looks at her hand and and see's that instead of a credit card she was handing the cashier a pad.good lord. how more mortifing can the situation get.....the cashier was the manager.*GASP*
yuppppp......never buying there again. At least not until i know i'll pay cash..HAHA

All...the...time! I can't stand it! I used to get it all the time when I was a teenager. It still happens, but not as much.

it happened to me many times :( glad nobody notice it! i run to my house.. i have to wear always white, and i have to be very carefull with that. the bad thing is that i'm not a regular person XD

I had a teacher in school that the day she was wearing a white pats her period began and she didn't notice! she had to wear a sweater around her pats  all day!!!!! I felt sorry for her.

It's not so much that they hurt. It's more what they do to your body. In tampons, especially the plastic ones, there is a chemical that can harm your body. Women who regularly wear tampons get a condition called Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). It can cause a virus to enter your body, and attack you. It's been known to be fatal and may even kill you.

It's alright to use tampons at a minimum. I, myself, only use them when I go swimming. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it. I will continue to use the Stayfree Ultra Thins. Much better in my opinion.

After that overview, I doubt you would want to use tampons. But look at it this way, I use them, and still alive! Just do it for swimming, and you'll be fine.

I wear tampons alot more now adays.
At first, it's uncomfortable because you don't know how to wear them properly (it's amazing how easily you can screw it up, ahah), but now it's simple.
I find nowadays that my periods are so heavy that I have to wear both a tampon AND a pad.
Not comfortable, if you ask me. But it must be done to prevent the, "What's the on your pants?" question from occuring.
[shiver] Had way too many of that!

I know how that feels!

Speaking of periods, did anybody's pad ever fall out? It happened to me once. I was at an amusement park, and I went on a roller coaster, and it fell out after I got off. Probably the most embarrassing moment in my life!

Fall out?! I've had it shift (which would cause a leak, GRR!), but never actually had it FALL out!
Ahh, that would be extremely embarassing!

After it happened, I quickly grabbed it and ran to the nearest lady's room! It didn't help that 2 boys saw it. Oh, I was so embarrassed!

We shouldn't have to be ashamed of it, but society finds it "indecent", which I don't completely understand. We never ASKED to have periods, geez!

AHH! I hate my skin! If I wash my face regulary with my scrubs and such, it dries out. If I space out my moisturisers and facial scrubs, it gets all greasy and I break out!
I can't find a balance! Right now my face is so dried out, I'm flaky all over! GRR!

But the thing is, it is embarrassing. Women are supposed to be lady-like and descrete, and how can we be descrete if we get periods?! It doesn't help that men act like we're freaks of nature, and that it's gross and disgusting! It's not our faults, and we don't want it anyways!
