Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.
No comment. To each their own.

Love, eh?
I don't think I love Josh, but I know I care for him deeply. He is, after all, one of my best friends now.
Speaking of that kid, I finally get to see him again tomorrow after a week (Not including our video conference last night, haha.) Haha, doesn't seem long, but it's been long enough for me!

Blah, my chest hurts so much from coughing so hard. And me and my mom are covered with spots that itch real bad, haha. And no, it's not chicken pox :tongue3:. We have no clue what the hell they are! Mine are the worst since I've been scratching them so hard I've been tearing skin! My arms, legs, and feet are just covered in scabs. Gross.
Will this torture ever end with me?

Yeah, doubtful. There's always something wrong with me, haha.

Sounds itchy, terrible and annoying, Endoh-chan! I hope you get better soon (and I wish the same for your mom, too).  ^^;

Thanks! It's not so bad. Just a pain in the butt that should go away soon.
I'll just . . errr...wear long sleeves at school tomorrow, haha.

Your welcome! Good idea, I'd probably do the same thing. I have a off-topic question, how do you make your text small? I see nothing where you can make it smaller. I feel stupid for asking. I've seen it done before here. Anyway, I'm sorry about your cat, Endoh-chan! She looks like such a sweetie!

I wish I could shrink the letters! For some reason the text on this site suddenly got bigger and it's bothering me. I can't figure it out.

Minna, I am so tired. I actually thought that having a job right on campus would make my life a little easier, but it isn't! My body is sore all over, and my eyelids are starting to droop. I'm still at college, and I have one more class. It starts in an hour. Hopefully I can stay awake for it. Ryan-kun could probably pass by right now, and I probably wouldn't even notice. T_T

Oh man I so need a job on campus its ridicoulous!! unfortunately being a theater major gives you so little time and nothing is open on the bloody weekends so grr  :dodge: I would love a job at the library but i'm sure the quietness would get to me after awhile plus I applied and nothing yet so I doubt I got it. Oh well...

I would love a job in a library. I'm usually quiet by nature so I'd love it. Unfortunately my job consists of feeding the masses, and it is exhausting! Ganbatte on getting that job on campus. And even though I'm not a theater major, I know how it feels to be busy. I've busied myself this semester. I have such a workload it's unbelievable!

I don't even know what my workload is going to be, my classes haven't even started so I'm scared, last semester was surprisingly easy on the homework situation because I basically had none but this semester is going to be different. oh man feeding the masses is a tough job, good luck with that! I have a Borders really close by so I'm tempted to apply to that but the only time i'm free is weekends and i'm sure they won't hire anyone who only works weekends, plus I have the most over-protective mother who does not want me to work on campus and not having a car doesn't help the situation either.

I have a job on campus too... But I live on campus, and about five minutes from my job, so it's a good situation insofar as that goes. But I'm a cashier at a bookstore... and being a cashier has got to be the most boring job ever. All those books, and I can't read! I'd love to work in a library, because I'd probably get some chance to read all those wonderful, lovely books. The good things about my job are that I get to work with two of my really good friends (Sarah and Nicole) and my supervisor Jan is an absolutely lovely person.

One of the really bad things is that currently we have about a dozen temp workers, and most of them are really obnoxious and rude. They are way over-possessive of their cash registers. For instance, say that one of them comes back from lunch and finds you on the cash register that she (all of them are women) was on before lunch. Most of them will stand behind you waiting for you to get off -their- cash register, even if there's another cash register that they could get on very easily. It's hugely annoying, and it holds up business, because I have to sign off of the cash register and sign on to another one, and then they have to sign on to their cash register. And I think some of them steal from the cash registers, because they come up short when they count their drawers. (Though, if they are stealing, it would make more sense for them to move from cash register to cash register, because it would make them harder to catch.)

That must su** LadyUltima. I would hate that! As for itsafactiact, our lives sound similar. I have a very overprotective mother that won't give me any freedom, and it doesn't help that I don't have a car either.  -_- I desperately need one, but my parents take most of the money I have. The don't want me to leave home.

If anything, my mom thinks I want to become a teacher because I'm getting vengence on her for being homeschooled. She still thinks that I liked it! And when somebody asks me if I liked it, and I tell them that I don't, mom will say, "Aww, come on honey. I know you loved it."  There's times I can't stand my mother!

Your mother probably denies you hated it because she doesn't want to feel guilty for making you do it. But it must be hugely embarrassing to be contradicted like a six-year-old saying you hate vegetables. Ugh.

Ya, my mom is overprotective because she cares about me sooo much. So she means well but there are times when you just want a little freedom. But she has been getting better, A while ago the idea of me being an actress was not good and that I should be a teacher but shes come to terms with it and is all gung-ho for me now and its great to have her at my back. So whenever she's over-protective its out of love. I can imagine working at a bookstore and getting annoyed, but the discount off of the stuff i'm sure helps ease the pain a little bit.

My mom is just a bit too touchy on things. Like for example, sometimes I forget where I put something and she explodes  :dodge: It's a real consistant thing, and I'm starting to hate myself that I forget alot of things. Also, I'm starting to think I'm cursed :sweatdrop: This has been going on for...a long time. We're not talking days or months, but years.

I can never tell when my mom is overprotective. It's there, I can just never see it  :tongue3: At one point it was really bad though, she almost shot down my dream of becoming a writer. When I told her that, she was all, "You do know that its hard to become a writer right? Then there's the fact you have to find an agent etc.." she rambeled on and I considered just giving up writing. She apoligized later though and said that she would support me no matter what. ^_^

Parents really don't make sense, and I already figured that LadyUltima. She's truly in denial, and out of all the kids she had, 4 including me, I'm the one that strayed farther than the others. I'm the loner, and she always hated that and my mom has it in her head that we have a great relationship, and when we fight she ignores that I'm upset. I would start to cry, and it's like she was completely numb.

Before when I would cry, she would hit me, but that was when I was still a little kid. That's when I started to cut myself. I was truly willing to do anything for attention, but at the same time I wanted independence. I can't seem to find a fine line. I have such a complex confusing mind.
