Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.
No comment. To each their own.

I'd say that goes both ways. rofl! My parents try to prevent me from being in the outside world. But thw retarded thing is, they want me to go out more often instead of being home alll the time. How retarded is that? They can never make up their minds

Haha, yeah, my parents do that sometimes, too.
I remember the other day I was sitting around at home and my mom was like, "You need to go have a sleepover with someone." So I went out with my friend Christine, and then about an hour later, my mom calls my cell phone saying, "Okay, just make sure you're home to do the dishes before I get home from work!"
I was like, "Whaaa?"
Blah, so much for a fun-filled summer.
AHH! I just pushed th keyboard drawer in and my dog, Abby was under the desk looking straight at me! Scared the crap out of me!

parents are really confusing. my mom tells me to get out of the house but since she doesn't approve of me walking places unless i have like.. multiple people with me, i need a ride. and she's always busy so she's always yelling at me that i go out too much!

so confusing. hah.

I wouldn't say that this is a rant, but I need to get something off my chest. It concerns my job and my way of life. One thing about my attitude is all or nothing. If I am going to do something, I don't go half way, I do it completely and to the best of my ability, and if I am unable to do something, and I don't or can't complete it, I won't bother to even do it. Take my personality for instance. I am very shy and don't like to talk to people that much, but once you get to know me, and I get to know you, I won't shut up. I will constantly talk without stopping. It can become annoying for people and they will tell me to stop talking. Sometimes it hurts my feelings and sometimes it doesn't.

But I'm straying off so let me get back to the topic at hand. At work today, we didn't have many customers and I was bored so I talked to my coworkers. They say I talk too much and I said that if I wanted to be quiet, I could and they didn't believe me so I said that I would stop talking. They said that I wouldn't last 5 minutes. So unless I had a customer that I had to take his/her order, I wouldn't talk. Then one of my other coworkers came in and he's usually happy but today he seemed upset. Using hand gestures and slight sign language, I asked, nonverbally, what was wrong. My manager said that his best friends grandmother died, and she treated my coworker like he was her own grandson. Then for no reason, she said to talk because she was already upset.

After that I couldn't talk because of a curse called empathy. When a person is upset I can feel it even if they don't show it, and then because they are sad or upset, it gets passed onto me. He was upset that she died, but I started to cry because I could feel that he wanted to cry. I'm still upset, but just getting that out has made me feel much better.

One more thing I wanted to say. People constantly complain that I talk to much, but the minute I won't talk, they end up complaining more, and then I start to talk again and they end up complaining again. I can't say I'm mad; I'm too sad to get angry, but it does constantly confuse me.

don't worry moezy-chan! me, i'm constantly talking also. and unfortunately, it's not because i choose to, it's because it's hereditary. yeah, hard to believe but my dad is also talkative, so i get it from him. and whenever i talk people always get mad at me. they're always telling me to shut my mouth and that they would just wish they could tape my mouth shut. and what bothers me is the people that say these things are my close friends and family. they don't realize that it hurts me to say that they wish i could just shut my mouth.

and then when i do, they notice and ask me what's wrong? it's funny, really because they're the ones that make me not want to talk and then they're asking me why i'm not talking? that's just crazy.

don't worry moezy-chan. it confuses me too.

I've got the same problem. I'm shy, but if I know the person really well, I don't stop.
I think we all get that sometimes.

Whoo.. I'm just going to go off-topic for a second, as a heads-up so I won't get yelled at. >>;;

I love the music for the Tsubasa/xxxHolic movie. <333

There. done. =)

That does sound very confusing. I honestly don't talk much myself, unless I have something I want to talk about. So, usually what I've gotten is, " Why don't you talk much? " or " Why are you so quite? "... blah blah blah. Most the time it's because I don't have anything to say and I like to listen to other peoples conversations.

hehehe I'm the shy type too but will talk your ears off if i know you really well and then people get the impression that i'm a mad crazy and very hyper child. However it only happens around people i know. So I get conflicting reports on who I am from everybody. that tends to be confusing to me as I don't really see anything different.

Well I don 't really expect to  :sweatdrop:

Oooh! Same here....I get scared when I have to stay home alone. There are always strange noises and you seem to hear things that you dodn't normally hear. I get really creeped out so I get my sister to stay home with me....:sweatdrop:

Lol... I think for me, that happened on several occasions when my brother made me watch horror movies with him. He doesn't get scared, he just wants to scare the crap out of me on purpose, that idiot. >_> And I cant say no because... well, let's just say he knows how to get me to give in very easily. Lol!!

aww! i get scared of scary movies too. but i never watch with my brother. my mom's church's youth usually holds a movie night after church during the summer and we always end up watching scary movies. by the time it ends, i'm freaked out, ready to go home, and scared to stay in my room alone. so i end up calling up people, or staying on the computer. yeah, i get scared easily.

I absolutely love staying home by myself. I can actually hear myself think when I'm home alone. It calms and sooths me. When everybody else is home, fights usually break out and when I'm alone I can do just about anything I want. Even if my mother still treats me like a child, the one thing she will allow is for me to be by myself. I value my alone time, and she always respects that!
