oh man.. i'm too scared to tell my parents i have a boyfriend. but i know i have to because it might leak into my family and family friends soon. and they ALL love gossip. `=x

my brother wouldn't laugh. my brother would be jealous at the fact that i got a boyfriend before he got a girlfriend. hah. and by the way.. he's 20 and i'm 15. HAH.

This is usually true, but not in my case. I'm the youngest in my family and the roles are reversed. I have 1 older brother, he's the first born, and 2 older sisters. And all of them have mental disabilities. My brother has schizophrenia, and aspergers (high functioning autism) and my sisters' disabilities aren't classified. For this reason, my parents put even more pressure on me to uphold the family.

Growning up there was alot expected of me, but at the same time, they gave me more freedom from the others. If I chose to leave the house, they wouldn't even care, all they did was ask where I was going. If I was visiting a friend, they had to know who my friend was, but if I just wanted to leave and go off without anybody, they wouldn't even ask me. It has it's ups and downs. And in the long run, I will be able to take care of myself when I leave, unlike the others.

Also, I did mention that my brother moved out, but he moved into a group home for the disabled, so he has help anyways. I'll be the only one who has what it takes, and this also is where the pressure lays. My mother expects me to take care of all 3 of them when she and my father die! I definitely can't do that! But at least now, I won't have to take care of my brother, and I'm trying to teach my sisters how to take care of themselves, so hopefully it will work out for them.

when i had boyfriends.. erm, its like no one in my family will know... especially after you heard your family start gossiping about your brothers' girlfriends... you will definitely want to keep it a secret..

aww moezy-chan. i hope everything turns out well for your brother and sisters. it's also very nice of you to be teaching your sisters how to fend for themselves. but doesn't it get hard sometimes.. always having the pressure put on you?

She's one of those "You can't have a boyfriend until your 50" kind of people.

Yeah it gets hard, but I'm studying to become a teacher, and I just look at this as practice I can use when I finally get my licence!

and about boyfriends.. i kept it secret first.. but then i decided to tell.. because then i wouldn't get into trouble ( i had to lie when i was going to meet my boyfreind..almost got cought a couple of times..)

yes, i admire you too, moezy-chan! me and charme.* are gonna kidnap you! hah. i've been going out with my boyfriend for over 8 months and i still have to tell my parents. it's scary because well, i don't know how they'll react. i decided that when i was going to tell my parents, i'd have to lie about when we started going out.. otherwise, they'd kill me.

and with KawaiiHana, we're both filipino so it's basically NO DATING WHAT SO EVER. and that's the rule. or at least no dating until you're out of college, get a job, and get your life straight, like our parents. right KawaiiHana?

i bet that applies for everyone too.

that is definitely what my brother would say. and i have a feeling it's gonna happen soon because well, someone in my group of family friends knows about my boyfriend and said he'd tell my brother. `=x

my parents allow me to date.. but just cant be bothered to tell them.. its like i wont stick to one boyfriend forever (for the time being).. so its troublesome to tell them if you have a new bf.
