Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.
No comment. To each their own.

I can see he's japanese. At least a bit, on the face. It's rare that he's blond though...

The question is, why girls?... Why can't guys have periods too?

That's what I'd like to know! They constantly complain that we complain about nothing, but they've never had it! Makes me mad just thinking about it! It's painful, and if we want to complain, we'll complain!

lol, my guy friends used to do that until a day when they hadn;t eaten yet, and then decided to buy large cokes with cherry shots in them, and the cokes gave them cramps! It was so funny, because they were practically dying, and all of us girls were like "See? It hurts, doesn't it?"

They never gave us crap again.

That's funny!

I feel pretty depressed right now. I got into another fight with my mom again. My parents like to eat out alot, and I can't stand it. I doesn't help that I can't eat alot of foods off of the menus because even though the anemia is gone, my ulcer isn't. And the foods that I can have are too expensive to afford, and my parents still insist on eating out. Sometimes they go out and I don't go with them, and they eat and there's nothing in the house, so I go without dinner. Partly how I became anemic in the first place.

On more than one occasion I have asked them whether together or separate, and the response is always 1 of 2 things: 1) Yell at me and treat me like I'm inept or 2) ignore me and hope I shut up.

I usually get yelled at when I confront both my mom and my dad, and I'm usually ignored when I confront my mom. I would never confront my dad by himself for reasons that are too hard to explain. I try to help them because they're constantly complaining that we don't have any money, and yet we can afford 4 televisions each with their own satellite and cable hook-up, and afford to go out to dinner almost every night. I'm frankly sick of the abuse, and there's no escape for me.

Eehh... That does sound like a bad situation, Moezy-chan. How many years do you have till you can move out?

I have at least 2 more years of college, and then I'll graduate and get my teacher's certificate. After that, I'm moving out for good.

I tried; I can't afford it. I took out a loan, but I was still $5,000 short. I just have to learn to deal with it until then. It helps to know that I won't live at home forever, and it also helps that I know what I'm doing with my life. That's my coping mechanism. It's what keeps me going.

It must be the end of the world.
For once in my life I have a light period!
[sigh] It's a dream come true.
Cramps still hurt like hell, though.
Hehe. Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers. At least I have drugs fro the pain. >_<;;

Edit:
Why the heck did the forums blank out the word "hurt" before?
That just makes no sense...

i don't have ulcer, but i've heard a lot of complaints about it from people who do.. they HAVE to eat regularly, even if they're not hungry.. so going without dinner.. that just aggravates your ulcer right?

do you have a part time job? or do you get an allowance? maybe you can stock up on bread or crackers and nibble on them when you don't have anything else to eat at home..

just a thought. hang in there. :okay:

Thank you for your concern. And yes, I won't pass it on. I've learned to look at the postitive outcome of it. 2 more years. I've gone through 22 now, I think I can go 2 more.

Yeah, we do have to eat regularly, but I don't really like to eat, so it's weird for me to eat so much. I do have a part-time job, but my parents expect me to give them money. I get to keep a little, but it only lasts me a week, and I get paid every 2 weeks. I will be getting more hours, so hopefully that will help.

I gave both of you cookies, for being so thoughtful!

My parents keep nagging me for the money I owe them but they won't let me get a job until the summer!
Dumb.

Parents, I never understand them! Question though Endoh-chan, I know you're 15, so how old do you have to be to work in Canada? In the states you have to be 16.
