Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.
No comment. To each their own.

Grrr... howcome every time I think I'm relieved of worries, brand new ones pop up? I can never relax anymore ever since this school year's started. It's like I'm on top of hot coals, always jumping around and never getting a rest. Even sick days are stressful for me - I always end up worrying about what I'm missing at school. This is probably because of my lack or responsibility and organizing skills, and Probably because of my priority issues, too from last year. I feel so screwed, I wish I was a better student last year, because this is a huge transition for me between grades, so it's probably why I worry so much. I feel so conscious around my classmates, because they're so used to have work just piled and piled and piled on. But for me, my old school wasn't exactly that strict. In fact, the teachers are lazy, and I admit now that part of my school stress is because they didn't teach that well and provide better foundations and rules for the following grade. The other part is me being a slacker and slacking off.

Last year, school wasn't important to me. I blame myself for being so stupid. Now, in a new school with wayyy more people, I feel the need to be a competitor too and to set high goals for myself. I always try, but end up being stressed because last year was a slacking off year.

Bottom Line: I feel stressed because this year is so much harder and I was a poor student last year and I'm trying to make a huge leap between the stages of slacker and honor student.

Crap, this is making me even more stressed and sad. That's probably another reason why my period hasn't come

Aww, poor Cherry-chan. What subjects are you taking up? If you're having trouble I'll be more than happy to help. I'm good at doing homework, and don't forget, I'm studying to become a teacher. And unlike your previous teachers, I care about what happens to a student. I don't like to see anybody fail.

That said, I have to let something off my chest as well. In regards to my personality I'm usually a cheerful and helpful person. You all know that, but as I've shown on various occasions, I also have a sad side. I'm known to go through little bouts of depression every now and then.

I reach a point in my life where I'm sick of of my life, and I frankly hate it. I don't hate it in the sense that I want to die, but I hate it enough that I wish it would change. I try to change it, but I'm so tired from the depression that I can't change it. Things begin to bore me, and I give up on my regular activities. Even this place is beginning to bore me. The only thing that's causing me to keep coming back is how nice you all are.

I'm not sure what I want to do with my life, but I know that I need to do something. Any suggestions minna? I hate being depressed. It really tires me out.

I'm sorry about that aishiteru-chan. I really can't think of anything that would help. I'm too stressed myself as well. I guess we've all got problems at this point. I tried to think of what would help, but I couldn't. It was ignorant of me.

It certainly does. For all of you who say that you want to grow up because it's easier, let me tell you right now, it's NOT! It is so tiring, and stressful. Not directed at you personally aishiteru-chan, but I am so happy I don't have a boyfriend right now. I don't have time for one, nor do I want one. I'm happy being single.

it's cool, moezy-chan. the only problem with my relationship right now is that my boyfriend's best friend just got his heart broken by his girlfriend of 14 months due to lack of feeling within the relationship. basically, there's only one heart where there once was two. and it sucks because i'm friends with both the boy and the girl so it's troubling helping both of them.

and i think that their breaking up is going to affect my relationship. ughhh.

Oh dear. No wonder you're stressed. That happens to me all the time. I'm always being pulled into fights, and I hate it! I wish you the best of luck with that. Try to be patient, and if needed, rant about it in here. That's what we're here for.

thanks moezy-chan. you're always here for me when i need someone most. it's like the only people i really can turn to without anyone judging me is the forums. i have so much stuff on my plate with school, majors, applying for college, extracurricular activities, getting into honors society, relationships, and all that good stuff that i'm so stressed out and all i want to do is make everyone happy and i end up just making myself sad. and like, i can't even explain how i'm feeling right now. i just feel like breaking down and crying.

No problem. And sometimes I feel the same way. I don't have anybody to turn to in real life. I'm not too well liked. People usually find me annoying, and end up yelling at me.  -_-

My schedule is also hectic. It's all so tiring. This is my weekly schedule:

Monday & Wednesday:

Class: Literature for Young Children 10-10:50am

Work: 11am-2:30pm

30 minute break (during this time I change out of my work uniform and into my casual clothes; 10 minutes to change, 10 minutes to eat lunch, 10 minutes to walk across campus to class)

Class: Survey of Art History 3-4:15pm

--- 55 minute break

Class: Child & Family 5:10-6:25pm

Tuesday & Thursday:

Work: 8:30am- (though sometimes 9 or 10am) 1:30pm

30 minute break (10 minutes to change, 10 minutes to eat, 10 minutes to get to class)

Class: 2-3:15pm

Friday:

Class: 10-10:50am

Work: 11am-2pm

Saturday:

Day off to do homework

Sunday:

Teaching Catechism 9-10:15am

Church 10:30-11:30am

I spend the rest of the day doing homework

... wow. random. haha. anyways, you just do. haha. i think that topic is a little inappropriate for the forums though..

Yes, quite inappropriate.  :sweatdrop:

i got a pretty hectic schedule myself just, mine is highschool.

wake up at 5, do whatever homework i couldn't do the night before i go on the forums. start getting ready at 6 and leave the house by about 6:45.

school starts at 7:35 with 5 minutes of passing between each period.
Homeroom: 7:35 - 7:50
Honors U.S. History II: 7:55-8:35
Junior English: 8:40-9:20
Algebra 2: 9:25-10:05
Junior Gym: 10:10-10:50
College Prep Chemistry: 10:55-11:35
Lunch: 11:40-12:20
Allied Health I (for nursing): 12:25-1:05
Digital Arts III: 1:10-1:50
Intro to Psychology: 1:55-2:35

i get out of school a 2:35, i go home, do as much homework as i can and then do extracurricular activities like dance class, flute lessons, tutoring, and my church's youth band practice. and weekends? i usually have homework or band practice or i hang out with my friends and boyfriend. but other than that, my schedule is quite hectic.

What a lovely schedule aishiteru! Here's mine:

7:00 am - Classes start
6:30 pm - Classes dismissed.

Oh yes, I have a LOT of time. *sarcasm intended* Oh and if I'm lucky, we either have play rehearsal/speech choir rehearsal/project making to do after classes that takes 3 hours, so I go home 9:00 in the evening. Then I do my homework. For 2 hours. That's now 11 in the evening. I sleep, and wake up at 4 in the morning since my school is far away from home. *sigh*
