I agree with you Miss Endoh, the prices are nuts. Let me guess, you went to Sliver City
You would be correct! I would have gone to the little movie theater a few blocks from my house, but they always get their movies really late, so by the time they got the Superman movie in, we'd already have bought it on DVD
Daily Queen. I would like to work there, why, because when its hot, you will be nice and cool, because of the icecream. ^_^ I love icecream
Actually the only reason why Dairy Queen is cool is because of the air conditioning. The machines all around just heat up the place. Hehe. I love icecream, too. The hardest part of the job is keeping yourself from licking your hands if you get icecream on them, haha!
So happy for you Endoh-chan! Raises are great ^_^ We'll miss you, but work hard and we're looking forward to seeing you back on next time!
Hehe I love raises! And overtime pay (time and a half)! Haha, I thought I was only working a 5 hour shift, when it turned out I was only doing a 4 hour shift. But I didn't figure this out until I worked the extra hour, haha! Oh well, it was super busy so I guess I was needed.
It's great that you came back, Endoh-chan, and that you're making time for the forums despite your busy schedule ^_^
Congrats on your new job! Dairy Queen!? I'd never laugh at you! They have the best milkshakes in the world! XD; Along with other goodies, of course^^ I would love to work at Dairy Queen <3 But then, I'd have to control my sweet tooth for certain^^;
Thank-you thank-you! I've found myself on the forums less and less and I hope that soon turns into more and more! I miss this place!
Haha, I've lost count as to how many milkshakes I made today, goodness. It sure is a good place to work, even if you have to deal with some of the most rudest people ever.
I mean, during the busiest time of the day, there was this one old couple waiting in the drive-thru for some icecream cones and I don't know how long they were waiting, but according to them it was a LONG time.
I was only delivering their icecream to the window (I wasn't the one who took the order) and the one old man starts freaking out at me about the long wait. I apologized and said that it was extremely busy and it couldn't be helped. I also added about the new employees needing training (i.e. myself, haha), and he said something like, "Oh well, you won't be seeing us until you know how to do things right." and took off. Pssh, good. Cranky old people. If you want it done right, buy yourself some cones, some icecream, and put it together yourself. Sheesh.
Ahh, they're not all so bad. I had one small conversation with one senior customer about how much we hate math, haha! The Register was giving out the wrong amounts so I had to do alot of it in my head. Man was that ever a pain in the butt.
Anyways, to steer on to a completely different topic, I need to complain...errr...again.
I have the TV muted right now (I'm waiting for a show to come on, but I don't want to hear the annoying rap music that's on right now). But I glanced at the TV and there was a preview on about a new TV show coming up. Called "Ugly Betty". I have no idea what it's about, but it's obviously about this girl named Betty who's being called "Ugly" simply because she doesn't dress like a tramp, and she has braces and glasses. But my goodness, she is completely opposite from ugly! Argh, it just peeves me off how off Hollywood's perception on "Beautiful" really is.
Sad thing is, that show is probably going to be suported by craploads of people.
Whoopsie, that was a long post, haha. Oh well, just making up for lost time
