You know, something kinda funny happened.... lol.

It was when I was on BWYS irc channel. Some guy PMed me and we started talking. Later on he then emailed me (i didnt give him the address either Lol) saying that he'd like to talk some more because I sound older than I was telling him (i told him i was 14 in which i AM!) RoFl. sry, i just seem to find this funny. xD

Haha, I've had that happen before. I was talking with some guy and I told him that my mom needed the computer, and he was like "...You live with your parents?"
and I was like, "Uhh..yeah, I am only 15."
He left after that, haha. Turns out he was 20, haha.

sometimes even if you tell the truth online, the other party may think you are actually lying.. so i guess, whatever they said.. just ignore it..

Very true. ^^; I've sometimes believe that someone was younger because of how they typed, when it turned out the person was in their 20s.

I am so happy I found this thread! I need to rant also. For the above post it's the exact opposite for me. I look much younger than my actual age and when I tell people that I'm a senior they think I'm a senior in high school, when I'm actually a senior in college! I get it all the time and I still hate it! It s**ks that I look like I'm 16 when I'm in my 20's!

And when I go to my job, and we have a new manager now, he assumed that I was still in high school! Ok done ranting.

My brother has that problem, too.
We were in town and I can't remember who we were talking to, but we were talking about school an they were like, "Oh, you're going into what next year? Grade 9, 10?" And they turned to me and they were like, "You going to be giving your litle brother a hard time, eh?"
I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing, and Andrew was like, "Actually, I just graduated. She's the one going into grade 10."
He gets that alot and it never gets old. He just claims it's because of his "boyish good looks."
I say it's because he's so freaking short and skinny! And, of course, he still wears clothes he did in, like, the 6th grade, haha. I'm suprised they fit!
But I can imagine how annoying that can get.

Oh very annoying. I'd wear make-up to look older, but I grew up such a tomboy that I to this day I refuse to wear make-up.

i'm soo happy to have found this thread. girls need a thread where they can talk amongst themselves about personal problems.

i was some of the posts from before about lying online. i was thinking.. if this is a girl thread.. and people lie online, then can't some people that post in this thread.. pretend to be girls but really are guys? the thought scares me, but still, there's a possibility.

oh, someone asked why people lie online. well, people lie online a lot so that they seem to appear like someone their not. or, they just don't want to give out their true identity. the world these days is scary. online stalkers and stuff just scares me.

i hate make-up too moezy-chan, but you know what sucks for me? i'm a dancer. and with recitals and pictures, i have to wear make-up. it sucks because i had to learn how to put it all on myself and it's like EWWWWWW. i like my natural beauty better, even if it consists of pimples. the only make-up i use is eye liner, and that is only when i look unbelievably sleepy.

i've ranted enough. i think this is long. don't get mad! `=)

If you mean me, people think I look younger than my actual age. I'm 22 and people say I look like I'm 16 or 17. It happens all the time and I say I'm used to it, but I'm not, so to make up for looking so young, I try to act serious, much like Syaoran, and people tell me to lighten up. It's a lose/lose situation.

The most make-up I wear is blush ( not that much ), and eyeshodow and then mascara ( not that much either ). Although I'm okay with how I look without makeup ( only when I have my eyebrows shapened. uu' I look so much sweeter with thin brows!! D: )
