I always get my period on the worst occasions.
The first time I got my period was when I was 11.
And it was the first day of middle school.
It sucked and I was horrified!!!!
I felt uncomfortable the entire time.

Ack... I should probably reveal my age now... because it's killing me when I can't exactly say I can relate to the other people in this forum because I don't want to reveal my age... it's pretty damn silly when I think of it. Ugh... so I'll just say it now... (why the heck am I fussing over this?) it's 11

Hmmm....I got my first period when I was eight, turning nine. Acctually, two days before my ninth birthday, so I guess you could say I was nine. Pretty young, huh? Yep, that's what everyone else said. Here's the story: I was staying at one of my relative's house for a week (because my 3 yr. cousin locked us out of our house by mistake), it was the first day, around 10:00 at night. My stomach was REALLY killing me. A little while later I went to the bathroom and found out that it was 'you-know-what.' I was totally freaked out. I didn't have any pads on me so I had to use the only spare ones that they had it the house, which, mind you, were HUGE. Gosh, I was REALLY uncomfortable. I had to go to school the next day, too. I was having TERRIBLE cramps so I tried calling my mom but she wouldn't pick up the phone, so I had to wait till school was over. Blah. Bad memories....

Man...I'm on my period right now and this is the first time I've ever has serious cramps!
It hurts so bad!
Maybe it's because I haven't had my period since May. >_<
My periods aren't periodical....they just come whenever they want to...
thats why I'm never perpared. >___<

lol...My mom told me about periods when I was, like, six or seven. It really was a shock! lol.

Lol I don't remember how old I was, but I just remember when our family went to Six Flags and my mom wouldn't go on any of the water rides with me and I asked her why, and she told me she was on her period...and then we got into this whole woman to woman conversation. @_@

I knew OF them when I was that young, but I didn't know exactly what goes on.
I didn't actually get the DETAILS until I was 9 or 10. Then that summer, I got it! Haha, great timing.

Wow, Moonflower, that is young. My cousin got it around the same time as you. I mean, she was in a C cup bra by the time she was 11. I didn't get there until I was 13! Ahh!

Ha my mom wasn't that comfortable and open with me... I never really worried about the details until I got that permission slip in Grade Five saying blah blah blah that your child is going through a "special age" and should be taught special helath classes so sign the form. I showed it to my mom and bit my lip, waiting for my mom to explain it to me herself. But she just breezily signed the form and handed it back to me, me with my mouth wide open. "Aren't you gonna tell me the facts?" I demanaded. My mom just said something about it's a teacher's duty to teach not hers and this was one of the things that taught by a teacher. My mom is so unpredictable sometimes

i had mine when i was 14! and im 23 this year.. so its like im been living with it for the past 9 years.. geez.. the worst hit was when i was 20.. it was so painful that my face turned white...

i remembered when i had mine.. i was so panicky! luckily i knew where my aunt kept her pads.. so i used hers instead.. but now, i just get my own..

When I told my mom, two months after I first got it, she didn't believe me.
I remember we were driving somewhere and I was just casually like, "Oh yeah, you need to by me some more pads." and she almost slammed on the brakes, but she just laughed, "Yeah, yeah, that's very funny, Jenni-Maie!"
I was just like, "no, I'm serious."

And all of a sudden after reading your post Endoh It reminded me of my dad. lol
He was very southern and would always call me by a double name. =P

i first got my period when i was 11.. it was the first day of summer vacation after the end of 6th grade and i went out with my dad to buy a pool (an actual pool, not the tiny kid ones) with his friends. when i got back, i had to use the bathroom and i noticed i had blood (hence the period). i didn't mind it until the next morning when i started freaking out cuz i leaked through my pants. and i started screaming at my mom (who was sleeping at the time) and she just told me to get a pad from her bathroom, put it on, and go back to sleep. hah. then i spent the whole day with cramps, and just watching tv since it was summer vacation after all.

My first name is a double name ,haha. Jennifer-Maie.  And then my middle name is Jossolyn. I used to hate my name, but now I kinda like it, hehe.
Oh man, when my dad found out, HAHA! He avoided me for a long time. He said he didn't want to believe I was growing up. My mom told me about how one year, at my dance recital, I was doing my ballet dance and my dad leaned over to my mom and was like, "Is she starting to develope?" and my mom nodded. And he's just like, "Oh dear god." and started swearing in portugese.
I laugh everytime my mom tells me that story.

ohh man! that reminds me of my dance recital a while ago. i've been a dancer all my life and well, my parents have always gone to my dance recital. i started developing at the end of 4th grade when i was like.. 9. i know, that's scary. hah. and well, i didn't have a bra then because my mom didn't think i needed one. so during my dance recital i would be doing my dance (by the way, it was a tap dance which meant a lot of hopping) and my dad would be like.. "does she have boobs ALREADY?!" and my mom would be like.. yes, and i think she's going to have really big ones since she's developing so young. and then my dad left the room and started screaming at the top of his lungs in tagalog. HAH.

and well, it's weird for me to have big boobs because it's unnatural for filipinos to have big boobs. we're normally flat. hah. and mine are pretty big for a filipino. `=x

haha, my mom is fairly small too. i'm a 34B. and as my friend, katrina would say during my cotillion practices.. "flaunt your blessings! be proud of your big blessings!" and then my best friend would start caressing hers. it's hilarious.

lmao! That's hilarious!! I remember the first time my best friend got her period... she was with me.  She was sitting on her porch and I came over and we both sat on the porch together, talking about stuff. Then she said, "Hold on, I gotta go to the bathroom, I feel weird."

Then she started screaming in the bathroom like there was a murderer! And the only people in her house were me and her older sister.

I came running in. She took one glance at me, then screamed like Carrie (you know, from the movie, Carrie) And it was all pretty darn hilarious. I screamed, "What happened? Are you okay?"

And she just kept screaming, then said, "I GOT MY PERIOD DAMMIT!!!" I started laughing my head off on the spot. She shot a murderous glance at me. Then her sister came running, and yelled, "What the hell are you two screaming about?"

I began to say, "Not me" but then my friend yelled at her, "GIVE ME A BREAK I GOT MY PERIOD!!!!"

My friend's older sister's eyes grew as wide as saucers, then she screamed and smiled at her sister. They both started to jump up and down, holding hands (they are sooo girly) and wanted me to join in. I refused, cause I do not jump up and down like an ecstatic puppy. Then my friend's older sister finally calmed down, reached into the closet, and threw a package of pads at my friend. "Knock yourself out," was all she said before retreating to her room and doing god knows what (My friend once burst in on her and found her making out with her boyfriend), even though I knew her boyfriend was far away from their home.

My friend ushered me out and I sat on the porch, waiting for her. After that she started acting all high and mighty with me, just because she was "becoming a woman" faster than me, but I had bigger boobs (hilarious). Anyways, I stopped being friends with her a week after that. I sure wiped the high-and-mighty smile off her face when I got my period the following month. Hilarious how things work out.

I would much rather be a B right now. I'm a 34D. It actually doesn't look like it (because whenever I tell someone that, they don't believe me haha), but it sure as hell feels like it. Back aches, and I hunch, haha.
My mom was shocked when I got that big, she's only a B, herself.
