Fruits Basket Manga 8

The whole Gravitation Anime Series. (it's awesome)

What's everyone else buying/saving for?

Last purchase: Tsubasa #3

I'm at my parents' for the summer, waaay out in the sticks where we have no manga stores, so I haven't been doing my usual bookstore-browsing and impulse-buying that I would in the city. ^^;;

But I'll definitely be saving up for Hot Gimmick #9 and perhaps more XXXholic or Gohou Drug.

I usually download anime or trade with friends, rather than buy it. o^_^o

***I usually download anime or trade with friends, rather than buy it.***

I'm guilty of sitting at the bookstore for hours reading the manga there.
I then buy my favourites.

haha, I do that too^^. I just sit down in the manga area and start reading...everyone who passes by gives me that "you're strange" look. Some customers started to think I worked there  :sweatdrop:

I know that feeling.
What's funny is when you go there nearly every other day so that you can read a whole series!!
They don't care though. I buy enough from them to make up for it.
Some books though are kind of hard to read at the bookstore..*cough*Selfish Love*cough*.
People walk by and glance at your pages.  :sweatdrop:

Arcademan, the Clamp No Kiseki are really worth the money, aren't they!
I'm really happy with the quality of the chess pieces.

Definitely. If you've seen the Merchandise Thread, you'd know I have virtually every figurine set of CCSakura ever made. :)

The last anime I actually bought was volume three of the uncut Yugioh DVDs for my birthday.  I don't get to buy much anime throughout the year.  The last manga I bought was volume six of Fushigi Yuugi, volume two of Tsubasa, and volume one of Dragonball.
When her leathery, crow-footed face turned towards my raised hand and said, “Yes, the boy in the Sailor Mercury t-shirt,” I sprung into action. It took me a brief 20 seconds to acquire the bokken (wooden sword) I had secured to the underside of our chairs with duct tape the night previous. Shouting “Japan BANZAIII!” in the manner of those noble kamikaze pilots from the War of United States Aggression (so tactlessly referred to in your history books as “World War II”), I charged the stage, bringing down the bokken forcefully onto the plywood table in front of Tiffany Grant. It was a tragic mistake not to channel my ki correctly. The bokken splintered into a thousand pieces, leaving me with no other plan of attack besides shouting, “You’re no Asuka!” as two Ohayocon toughs escorted me out of the room-SomethingAwful.com

TRC (chinese)5 deluxe version
TRC 6-9(chinese)
Clamp no Kiseki vol. 8(chinese)
If I ever buy this much again at one time, my parents would probaly never allow me to go into a bookstore again
I usually just read in the bookstore ..way cheaper.

Just bought the second Manga of D.N. Angel today!
While I was there I saw Newtype and it said Tsubasa was inside.
Anyone have any idea how big the article is and what the pictures are?

newtype japan or newtype USA? the newtype japan has 2 full pages of tsubasa in it, not just a small article. The July issue also includes some info on the xxxholic movie  :keke:

It was the USA version.
Of course you can't look inside because it's sealed.
I'm not even sure where to get the Japan version.
I guess it would have to be ordered online.
