Sakura's made-up words.
(1/1)
Cardcaptor Takato:
I know Sakura's made-up words are very cute and funny and I often use them myself, but why did Sakura make her own words up, anyway? Why doesn't anyone seemed confused as to why Sakura says "Hoeee!" but they're always confused whenever Sakura goes into "Hanyan" mode? For example, in the Snow Card episode, Sakura finds out that Mizuki-sensei is becoming her new homeroom teacher and goes into her "hanyan" mode. Meilin wonders what's up with Sakura and Tomoyo responds by saying she's in her "hanyan" mode but Meilin is confused as to what that means. Then, in another episode, Sakura tells Shaoran that Mizuki-sensei makes her go "hanyan" and Shaoran has this poor confused look on his face, but nobody seems to be confused by her made-up word "Hoeee." So, why does everyone get confused by "hanyan" and not "hoeee" and why does Sakura make these words up?
Ruby Chan:
Well...a lot of people tend to make their own words up, so that explains that point. Hoee....it's more like a shriek, or a cry, so I guess it's easily understood. But haanyan...it's a made up word describing something, and unless you know about it, you won't know what it means.
Does that make sense?
Sakaki:
I wonder too, if it's confusing to them because she's going into "haayan" mode over the female teacher, that Syaoran doesn't trust and wants her to stay away from.
Maybe they get the meaning somewhat, just don't understand why.
Or at least in Syaoran's case the feeling that he gets from Kaho is totally different than the feeling Sakura does.
Sakura feels more like she does when she's around Yuki and Syaoran is wary of Kaho.
And it's no surprise that Tomoyo understand ALL of Sakura's words and emotions!
Eriol:
Hehehe!!Sometimes I dont' understand when Sakura made-up words got in but in sense that she just expressing her emotions than using jumbled words!!! :okay: And also,I like when she saying "hoe!!" everytimes!!! :hehe:
