Title: drunk sakura

Fye and Kurgane were meant to bring back alcohol. the one scene I had been REALLLy looking forward to was omitted. I guess they did need to...since children will iodlise the characters and would end up getting drunk themselves...
but its such a shame. Looks like we wont get to see Sakura meowing and Shaoran fighting with a ladel

Post by: Adarian on August 30 2005, 04:24 am: Yeah, in the anime, they've taken out all of the funny scenes. I guess they're trying to make the anime more angsty or something, but some comic relief can be a good thing, so maybe they'll leave the other drunk scenes in.

A drunk Syaroan-taichi is just priceless, its like the show has to be angsty and serious 24/7, even Fai, the all-around-funny guy, is really not as funny as the one in the manga. Its really disappointing knowing that they take out every potential light-hearted moment in the anime, of all the things to see animated, it had to be the drunk scene.

I really do hope they plan on keeping it in, I also recall Fai saying that he got a little drunk, however, he didn't have any bottles with him >_>. This is just plain cruelty :XD:

I thought NHK was a channel meant for general audience, so maybe they think the drunk scene is inappropriate for kids...

You can slice somebody up with a sword and show lots of blood yet they won't show a teenager drunk?!! Yeah...tell me another story :D

*cries* Everything you said just now is so true! Fai is *way* funnier in the manga! (Fai: O.O... *cries* Kuro-woof doesn't listen to me anymore! Kuro: Stop your fake crying!) Also, I really wanted the drunk scene to happen cuz that was really funny when Fai was all hungover and that time where he randomly sniffs Kuro, and of course the nyaaing!

i think she did not get those hangovers.. partly like what AkaiYuki said, she must has drank regularly.. or the other reason may be due to individual.. some of them may have hangovers but some dont..

(Maybe not even in Outo, but as long as they do, I'm happy!) I doubt they'd change it that much though, if they get drunk, it probably *will* be in Outo, but maybe like Ruby chan said, it could be at a different part in Outo.

Maybbbee the episode today will start with them all being hungover and be a flashback...but then again Shaoran was meant to be drunk from when he started talking Kurgane about swords (though not obviously). On the other hand Fye got wasted so there no way he coulda joined in the conversation while *gasp* standing in the doorway

the moment has passed..looks like the added Sakuras song, rather than the insanelly funny scene, which made them seem a little bit more human.

now its just gonna be doom and gloom forvever :/
