I need a bit of advice....I would say that it depends on if the poster has to be serious or not.
My Socials teacher asked us to do a poster about responsabily in school.
But I don't have any idea of how or which kind of images I may use for the poster. I already have one idea: Do your homework.
But I need at least 3 ideas. Any suggestions?
So Moezy would you also like journals about the right of arms sent to you?Â
(peer reviewd of course because then they're more crediable)
First of all you have to pick an event then, review who was all there.  A little kid's pov is an interesting idea but you wouldn't be able to use highly big words unless that kid is a genuis or something.
Mozey~Chan i'm sorry but my computer has decided to hate pdf files. everytime i click on one the computer shuts down so I can't be much of a help (Soo sorry!)
THAAAAAAAAAAAAANKKKKKKKK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Thanks for the help! :keke: *hands cookies*
I would say that it depends on if the poster has to be serious or not.
Ideas for a serious poster:
- Do your homework / Study hard: pics of students reading or writing
- Pass between classes in an orderly manner: pics of students in hallways, possibly in lines.
- Be respectful of teachers and faculty members: pics of students doing nice things for teachers
- Don't sleep in class: pics of students looking alert and attentive.
Ideas for a not so serious poster:
- Don't thow things in class: pics of students throwing things
- Be respectful: students sticking out therr tounges or clearly not listening.
Things of that nature may get you thinking. As far as how to do it, it shouldn't be too hard. I had to do something like that a long time ago. Either take pictures off the internet or cut them out of magazines. Paste or tape them to the poster, and write the rule/responsibility next to each picture. I hope I was able to help or at least give you ideas. :heh:
Hunting, protection, law enforcement, you have to kill rabid animals somehow, (so sad)
hmm.. I don't know I think guns hould have never have been invented but that's just me.
Now I need help. Does anybody have any ideas to help my argument on keeping the 2nd amendment; the right to bear arms? I've typed up 3 pages already, I just need 2 more. I just need some ideas. Anything will do.
Maybe you can mention how they used them to create "justice"? I mean, when someone commited a crime, they were killed with arms to "pay". Maybe you can mention that
Thank you also Monserrat, but I already put that in my paper, but I'll see if maybe I can extend on that.
Another option is how they used arms (as an example, a knife) for daily uses, such as cutting the skin of an animal and making their clothes. Or cutting tree braches with axes to make their houses....
That would be about knives. I'm writing about why we should keep guns. Also, the ideas should be recent as in the last 5 years. I don't think cavemen would fit into my paper, but I do appreciate the help.
Ok then!! I will try to find an option for guns..................*thinks really hard*..........
Um...because...because....argh!! It IS hard!! I don't really like guns... :hmp:
Ok, here is an idea...(my brain is tired, hehe): :sweatdrop:
We should keep guns because the soldiers that protect an important place (like in London, there are lots of police people carrying guns near important places) can use them if there is a situation that would need violance...............
Sorry if I am not much help... :dodge:
I don't like guns either. If we could rid them from the planets, I'd be leading the pack. Part of the reason why I'm having so much trouble writing this paper. And pardon the pun, but I've brought in the big guns. I mentioned September 11 in my paper. If there was ever a situation to protect, that would be the situation. Thank you for your help though. I appreciate it. Gives me the motivation to continue writing. Ganbatte mas!
*sigh*Â :sleepy5:
I did what I could...I am sorry if it didn't heloed at all....but I hope that everything will work out at the end...I am going to sleep now, because I am very tired...but I hope that you finish your report nicely :okay:
Thank you, and have a goodnights rest, and you helped more than you think.
...I'm writing about why we should keep guns.
...
hello Moezy-chan.. how about people keep guns because of psychology purpose.. it makes them feel safer or people who keep guns thought that there may other 'bad' people out there who wants to harm them..
next, due to peer pressure? or due to the inefficiency of the current police force?
Domo Arigatou bLuetopaz-sama! I hadn't thought of that before! Hai, cookie!
You can introduce the song by telling how this song has been known and heard around the world.
Another song you may use is the famous Lullaby. This one is even MORE known and famous. But Mary had a little lamb is very nice, too.
Hmm.. Visuals Of course you'll need a lamb, a school, and Mary
memorizing shouldn't be too hard
the correct procedure well your teacher should have told you that or else it's in the text book
Other suggestions of songs... Twinkle Twinkle little star? A tisket a taskit? Old McDonald? BINGO? 3 blind mice? I've been working on the railroad? Are you sleepy? Incy Wincy Spider?
I like Mary had a Little Lamb though. It was the second thing I taught myself how to play on the piano.
wow this brings me back to the kindergarten days lol

Can anyone please help? In my school, we're starting this new thing about celebrating National History Day. We have to create either a documentation, report, or display using this year's NHD theme. I've no clue what the what history event I should make my project on. :sweatdrop:
the theme is "Taking a stand in History"
Any suggestions? :sweatdrop:
It depends on what interests you. Are you interested in battles, peace groups, or eliminating segregation. The best thing would be to list ideas that you like. When you like a particular subject, it makes the project easy, and fun! You can list your interests to me, and I'll see if I can think of anything ne?Arigato Moezy-sama! :keke:
Hmm... the only ones at the top of my head are the Women's Rights Movement, and the Civil Rights Movement....
Oh! I did a little research, and found some sites about this NHD you're talking about. There was one that gave a long list of specific suggestions. Here's the link: http://www.state.sc.us/scdah/topics.htm
The list is towards the bottom of the page. Hopefully this helps... and you haven't seen it already or something... ^_^;;
Arigato Moezy-sama! :keke:
Everything in history is interesting to me.. Demo, I'd like to something that had a lot of action in it, possibly something that wasn't in the US, but it's fine if it was too.
Then how about 1 aspect in World War II. It ties in with America, and it's outside of America as well.
...
my teacher said WWII's topic is too big, I need an "area of emphasis"...so then, which event in WWII would fit best in the them "taking a stand in history" ?
erm.. how about Germany surrendering?that would be good, but, my project's supposed to be an exhibit... :sweatdrop:
that would be good, but, my project's supposed to be an exhibit... :sweatdrop:
exhibit like having posters around or making little models?sort of like a tri-fold exhibit, where you have these boards and you put information on it. Like a museum exhibit

Hmm anyone has good articles or website on industrial fermentation of antibiotic penicllin and also it economical aspect?
I must write a speech about something and perform it in class with a speaker's desk and I also must wear clothes which fit this speech...uhrrrg
Anyway...I have no idea about what to talk! she saied it could be political or a speech for a birthday or something like that...
Have you guys any good ideas??? ^_^"
Yeah I like it... but I thought there could be better ones...But maybe you're right. I should try this idea...^_^
I wanted to look like a teacher...so clothes like a teacher and maybe I'll take some classes from my mother ^_^
And then with many many papers under my arms...like some teachers in my school... I would stand in front of the teachers desk and speak with a weak voice...or with a strong and strict voice... I don't know....
I think it could be a good idea to interview some teachers and use some of their comments for my speech...
Some high grade...maybe college or uni...
A girl in my school saied that I must do something funny because thats the only thing I can do good... Yeah..I knew it XD
Thats sweet of you and you helped me a lot!
Thank you! *huggles and gives cookie*
I'm having a bit of trouble with this report I'm supposed to write. It is about the progression of cartography (map making) through the centuries and no matter how many times I revise it...my teacher says it doesn't sound intellectual enough. He wants feedback from historians/scientists and stuff and I have no clue where to get that...>_<Â He says their opinion is more reliable than mine.
<_<!!!
Thanks so much for your help! I've searched on Wikipedia already but today I went to the REALLY big book store in our downtown area and they actually had a few books on the history of cartography. =) I've even got opinons from a number of historians.
I appreciate the help though! *huggles*
Ano.... I need a bit of help!!
I have to find images that show a certain value and write a little paragraph underneath about the image explaining how it has something to do with the value I have to explain
There are 15 values, and I have done some, but I can't find an image that shows Solidarity (I am not completely sure that is how you call it in english, gomen..... in spanish it is called SOLIDARIDAD)Â Â
Can you please give me a few ideas? :heh:
