Okay at first i didnt mind it much because I thought ppl were exgagerating because of Hurricane Katrina. Then when today the news alert said it changed from catogory 1 to 4 to 5...well now im realllly antsy..and i have HOMEWORK on top of it..PROJECTS >< and im scared out of my mind.... :sad5:
-
People at school were going "We're all gonna die!" -_- It was so annoying..
The categories are backwards, right? 1 being weak and 5 being strong..?
Gah, I hope my internet connection doesn't cut off! o_o
-
uh huh. yeah ppl were yelling that in the hallways. and 5 is the strongest >< my mom just went shopping to see what she could "salvage" im really freaked out
-
Lol, in a way... its funny and scary at the same time... sorry if I offend anyone, it's just the way I am... I hate getting too serious about things. :sweatdrop:
I'm not quite sure about it... I mean, no one really mentioned it at school... and I'm actually learning about Hurricanes in Earth Science (the teacher goes on and on and on....) and the teacher hadn't mentioned Rita. o.O
-
My orchestra teacher was all mad because we had to postpone the region help clinic. She was going "the hurricane's going to be 300 to 400 miles below Sugarland..." and then she started talking about how people where fighting for food at the markets and stuff o_o
-
Yeah I know..she told us this morning...in the..orchestra room...for advisory...><
-
Hmmm... I don't think Rita will do as much damage as Katrina, because the damage was mostly from floods, which Katrina was more powerful in making. Rita, I think, won't do as much flooding, but she have powerful winds. Both are very strong. I hope the people down south in the US will be okay!
-
Wow... honestly I haven't been watching the news all week, so I didn't know until today that this hurricane was coming. If it doesn't do as much damage, I really hope people don't panic and make chaos just because of what Katrina did. :(
-
Oh, Kami-sama! I hope all who are on this forum that live down there will be alright. You'll be in my prayers. Kiotskete kudasai! (Please be careful!)
-
*rocks back and forth* :sad5: this is really gonna get to me sooner or later ><

i feel sorry for those people who are stuck in the traffic jam i saw today on the news
-
Oh dear! I am so worried for everybody, this seriously has to be the worst hurricane season ever! Please be careful! Hopefully it wont be too much damage. Alot of people are worrying about the oil since there's alot of oil in Texas, and most of it will be in danger by Hurricane Rita! *prays* I hope you guys are all okay.
-

That's what I'm scared about. I pray to Kami-sama that he will protect everybody there. Even the people that we don't know!

If anything happens, I'm watching out for the news, and all of my friends that happen to live in Texas, please be safe! Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon.

It turned a sharp west or somewhat. Its hitting Beamont. We're not gonna get effected...i think. But there is gonnna be a lot of rain
-
Horray!!
My worrying worked!! The brunt of it missed houston!! But I feel bad for the other cities.
-
I read off of Yahoo! News that it already hit! To anybody that's in the vacinity, I hope you're all alright! You're all in my prayers!
-
I'm praying hard! Gosh, I saw the news. The floods are a lot more worse than we have here in the Philippines.
-
The hurricane seems to have died down considerable, at least that's what the news in TN is saying. I don't think there is anything left to worry about, although I understand it must have been frightening after seeing what happened in New Orleans. Still, I remain a little skeptical of the news... not about it being over, but its force to begin with. Bah well I'm glad everyone's alright.
-
is there any new news on it or did it actually die and fade away?
-
Yeah and there are no one hurt in the gurricane aftermath!! :okay:
