I loooove the panel where Fai whistles, and his eyes are like... hidden behind his hair... Soooo pretty! I wonder what will happen? Will the gang end up in a peaceful country, where they can interrogate Fai? Or maybe they'll end up in Ceres? O_O

Did anyone else notice that the magic came out of the hat Fai threw? Interesting how he used it as a device to aim his magic. And, hmm... looks like Fai just saved their asses and took his Kuro-chan by complete surprise, ne?

Well, I'm looking at page 13, the top panel to the left. It shows the hat with the swirls that appear to come from it. Heh, but I'm pretty blinded by how hot Fai looks, so I suppose I could be totally off, and that's just fire or something... XD It was just an observation that doesn't matter much anyway, it's Fai's magic regardless of where he could possibly be aiming it to or from. And damn, am I glad to see his powerful self shown.

See, I thought the swirling was just the hat being 'consumed' by the waves or something. In a really maaaagical way. But we'll have to wait for the translation to know for sure...
I wouldn't really call this Fai's strong self. It's just some simple defensive magic. But there is NO way in heck Fai can dismiss this as a 'sixth sense' or 'easy to figure out' sort of thing! He's got some 'splaining to do!

This pretty much blows all of the "Fai can't control his magic, so he won't use it!" theories out of the water, so to speak. I actually perceived the entire scene as Fai transforming his hat into the defendo-sphere thing as well. I wonder what finally made him use it, though? Gaaah, we need the translation!

I never think the reason he doesn't wanna use his magic is because of the overwhelming power, he never said that he can't use it because it's "too powerful". He just doesn't want to because he doesn't know how long Asura-oh is gonna last underwater. My guess is, if he uses the magic, that power will leave a trace telling Asura-oh where Fai is... Like a tracking device. The tattoo could have been served as something that could have blocked out Fai's scent completely, which makes it the most important piece for Fai if he REALLY doesn't want Asura-oh to find him

I completely agree that this abolishes the theory that Fai can't control his magic. I never liked that theory very much, but it did have some interesting possibilities. Rather like the theory that Fai is evil. I've never liked that, either, though it is open to discussion still, and also holds some very interesting possibilities.
And who else is looking forward to some intense KuroxFai scenes in the fallout from this? (Me! Me!)

Do you think now that Fye used his power Ashura will return from his sleep.(It's just an idea) I hope in the new world Fye will be willing to answer some questions from Syaoran and Kurogane. But I don't think so. It's interesting that his magic came from whistling.

If Fai looks like that everytime he uses his magic, I hope that he uses it every chapter! He seems to control it very well but there was a reason why he did not want to use it before now. Perhaps its tied somehow into the seal on Ashura's coffin.
Can't wait for the next chapter! I will be praying for some KuroFai moments to come.

Sadly, I don't think CLAMP will say anything really about Fai. Fai'll probably go all mysterious and stuff, and we'll want to kick him and not-kick him because he's awesome.
