I've often wondered it myself. It could be possible that they wanted to keep the English translations child friendly, and in all reality, the word "hoe" in English meansI was thinking that but what made them change it back to 'Hoe!' in 1-6, the ones in right-to-left format?Show contenta woman who sells her body. That might be the reason, but then, why didn't they do it with the Clow Card Arc? It's truly confusing.
Actually, a hoe is a gardening tool. Take away the 'e' at the end and you've got a bad word XD
Hmm... I can imagine it would look very bad if a Tokyopop was partly the cause of 40,000 little girls getting sent to the principal's office for reportedly, 'randomly calling other students ho's'. XP I've actually been asked why I sometimes say 'hoe', on other forums... XD
How would Sakura pronounce "hoe"? I think she says it like "ho-weh." ^_^;Yeah... she kinda says it like that in CCS... (Hoe? Is going "Green"... o.0;;;; Slap me quick!!!)

I'm not really getting this... o.O I've just found out that word is a bad one when I read this thread...
It is a gardening too, and take away the e and it is a bad word, but in some cultures in the states it is spelled with an e. Around where I live we spell it with an e.Same here. When I first saw that, I was like what is she saying. But after going on the internet (internet, can't live with out it), I found out what she ment by. So it doesn't bother me.
Sometimes, people get confused with "hoe".... After all, one word may have multiple meanings... ^^
