Mamoru Miyano (Wolf's Rain) will take on the role of Light and Yamaguchi Kappei (Ranma 1/2) will take on the voice of L in the upcoming Death Note anime. Cast details were announced in Weekly Shonen Jump No. 40. The TV series begins airing at 24:56 on October 3rd via Nippon Television Network. Yes, It's been released in Japan some months ago. I don't think anyone has subbed it yet...

Post by: Zettai daijoubu on November 11 2006, 10:02 pm: L only appears like in epsiode 6!! before that he was always in the shadows.. for a L fan like me it's a tortous wait.. and i can't help linking Light to Tamaki (ouran).. same seiyu mahz.. but thier personalities don't really fit.. i still can't get use to Light's voice.. >.<

erm...*sees images* right now, I'm creeped out by fan arts of L...but I've seen only one screenshot of him...and the face isn't close enough for me to distinctly recognize his features... o.o
