Title: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Post by: Fairie Inc. on December 04 2006, 02:15 pm: Hello everyone, just on Friday they began the 25 days of Christmas on ABC Family. They started it off with a big Harry Potter marathon and also had quick clips and interviews for the new upcoming Harry Potter movie. If you go to http://www.mugglenet.com and scroll down to Most revealing look at OOTP so far! you can see the 14 clips.

Also if you scroll down almost to the bottom, on the right part of the screen you can play the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer!

I am actually a little afraid of what they will change and take away from the book in this movie.... Though I understand that the movies can't have everything that happends in the books but still. I am a fan of the Harry Potter books, I am not a fan of the Harry Potter movies even tough they are a little good I definetly like the books more. Well that's just my opinion.

BUT Order of the Pheonix is the worst book yet! i fell asleep reading it and HOW CAN BLACK DIE?!?!?!?!?

while Half Blood Prince was nice as if to compensate for the bad Order of the Phenoix.. lol.. looking forward to the final installment-BOOK 7!!! wonder when she's copmpleting it

But the books are great! I can't wait for the last one to be released.

Which is especially irritating since it's clearly mentioned in the first book that Harry disliked that crew cut so much that he subconsciously had his hair grow back to its original length...

Oh well, I won't watch it. I haven't liked any of the movies I've seen this far, and something tells me that the fifth one will be the worst of them all; far too little happens for the most part, meaning they'll have added heaps of non-canon stuff (I'm expecting a lot of Quidditch, for example). As for the sixth book, that one will be impossible to make a good movie out of, unless they change the course of events completely. It won't be pretty. Â

Just like Hermione's hair is supposed to be horrible looking and messy as describe in the book, but in the movies it looks fine. So when the "big" transformation happens at the Yule Ball, where she is supposed to look REALLY stunning, she really doesnt look different at all. It was very dissapointing, they just want her to look like a "pretty" girl, but her character isnt supposed to change "beauty" wise until later...

Yes I agree, I dont know why they changed the color of the dress...*sigh*

nope! BoA was rumored to be Cho Chang but that was just a rumor on the net... Katie ended up getting the part. and anywayz, it'll be pointless to replace Katie now coz she's almost finished filming OOTP. After that --> no Cho (well, as far as we know anywayz).

Post by: mushu143 on December 15 2006, 04:42 am: I agree that the books are a lot better than the movies, but the movies are good, too! I haven't finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, so I guess I'd better get on that before the sixth movie?

And what's with Harry's hair in OOtP? I liked it better when it was longer. D: Fred, George, and Ron's hair styles are all short now, too! Oh well! I can't wait to see this movie.. it's coming out after I graduate!! xD
