Title: Marmalade Boy

Marmalade Boy(MB) isÂ about a Girl named Miki and All she wanted was an ordinary family..and thatÂ´s exactly what she had.Then one fateful day her parents met the Matsuuras and turned MikiÂ´s World upside down. Now she lives in a house with 4 parents and her new stepbrother Yuu who is a total jerk..make that a totaly cute jerk...ItÂ´s bad enough being broughtÂ into her parents strange soap opera, but Miki will star inÂ a soap of her own when she ends up torn betwen her long-time crush Ginta, andÂ Yuu(stepbrother)

Marmalade Boy was one of the first series I discovered and loved when I first got into anime and manga. It's so bizarre and cute. ^^; It can be a bit dramatic for my taste now, though (but I still enjoy it, anyway). Meiko's my favourite character... she became my favourite character immediately. I think it's a combination of her appearance (mainly the wavy hair) and the fact that she is calm, intelligent, and sophisticated... she reminds me somewhat of my favourite anime/manga character (Kaiou Michiru, Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon). Plus, I find her affair with her teacher interesting (and at the same time, very sad).
