I've visited websites on CCS and when regarding the first movie, the answer is almost always the same: the movie was pointless and a complete waste of time. I started this poll to see whether people like the movie, didn't like it, or they are unsure. Please vote and then explain why you chose your answer, or you can just simply vote since it's anonymous, but if you state your answer, please explain why, and don't simply say, "It s**ks."

I'll go first; I like the first movie because it shows Syaoran's background more and IMO Yelan gives him the incentive to like Sakura more.

I don't really like the movie a lot, but i don't dislike the movie.
I think it's okay.

I think that it could have been better, but all in all it wasn't bad.

Well, I think it depended on the kind of fan. I'm a S&S shipper so it's not that I didn't like the movie, but it was more like, I would have liked to see more S&S in it, but for example when my brothers saw it (one of them have never even seen the anime or read the mange) they both liked it very much because you could see a story from beginning to end, I mean you did not need to have a background knowledge (except maybe the basis) to enjoy this movie.

i liked it.. but i didn't like it. it's hard to explain. like ss83 said, i'm all about s&s so it's hard to basically like the movie since there isn't any. but besides that fact, i liked it.

i didn't think it had much of a point, but it was cute for what it was, somewhat like the ccs dub was.

i like it n_n' butÂ I didn't enjoy it a lot o.0
i think it was a good movie.. we saw new characters o.O we learn more about that part.. but... i wish the movie had more moments.. but i KNOW it's not the time to have more n.<
they give an answer to ourÂ question Â¿s&s moments?

I have just saw it yesterday. Was really exciting, I was in shock, I don't know whta to say about that movie, just that I loved it like the second one!!!!!!!!!

It was fine, for where it was at the time......between the first and second season. The only reason people think badly of it is because they watched the third season, and the second movie, then looked back at the first movie.

Of course, it had none of the complex plots and S+S that they were now accustomed too, so people grew disappointed with it.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I have read a few reviews, so I can say I think the movie is nice, although more SS interaction would have actually made me buy the movie in dvd just to watch it...hehe

I thought the movie was ok but kind of disappointing. The pacing of the movie was kind of slow and I didn't like how they crammed in all the good action scenes there near the end. I was also disappointed that we didn't get to see more of China, like I thought it would have been neat if Sakura went to other places, like the Great Wall of China or something. Pretty much all we got to see in Hong Kong was Bird Street, a resturaunt, some banks and that's it. >< I also didn't think there was enough Sakura x Shaoran moments and the movie lacked humor. It's not like there wasn't any jokes in the movie. It's just like all the jokes they had were ones we've seen already a thousand times throughout the series already and they just weren't as funny, either. But the first movie did have good animation and music, I liked meeting Shaoran's family for the first time, and I really liked the ending, but that was pretty much all that I liked about it.

The first movie was ok, so I think that there should be an ok option in the poll.
I thought I was going to love the first movie as a massive CCS fan, but I thought that the ending needs abit more work because it was kind of confusing.
