i would say "you don't know how hot Syaoran is and how cute and sweet they look together!!!"

nevermind they are 10 year old.. i already seen them as teenagers even when they are in CCS.. I mean they don't have the thinking of 10 year olds.. and neither do they do magic.. (actually no one does.. lol.. ^^)

I think some fans would dislike the coulpe just because they wanted Sakura/ Syaoran to themselves lol. I was chatting to one of my friends on deviantart about SyaoranxSakura and she got really mad at me and said "Sakura is such a bit*ch!! Syaoran loves her so much why can't she see that!! I wanna be her!!" and proceeded to rant about how much she didn't like SxS simply because she was jealous ^_____^;;;;;
Then again I'm an absolutely hopeless Fai-girl but still love Kuroxfai ....
Anyway if they said they hated SxS I wouldn't hold it against them but I would probably give them a wierd look like: 'How COULDN'T you love them???"  Heehee!

Throughout this thread, people have replied that "it's impossible, because it's canon, and CLAMP meant it to be that way".

You're taking this discussion in the wrong direction. It's not about what is official, or true, or possible, it's about what fans want. Some people don't care if it's canon, some people don't care if CLAMP meant it to be that way. Maybe they wanted Sakura to be with someone else. Perhaps Tomoyo. In fact, if Sakura and Tomoyo had shared a kiss in the series, I would have been insanely happy.

Something that is "canonical" is something that has been set in stone by the writers of the original fiction, and truly genuine in the history of the series.

In essence, the Card Captor Sakura anime and manga series is considered "canon", as it reflects true events within the story that were decided by the authors, CLAMP. Any corresponding fan-fiction, invented by people other than CLAMP, would be considered "non-canon". Basically, any fiction about Card Captor Sakura that is not written by CLAMP is non-canonical.

To become a little more complicated, Syaoran and Sakura falling in love with each other is a canonical event, because it happens in the series. Syaoran and Sakura marrying and going on a honeymoon is not a canonical event, as it does not happen in either the manga or the anime.

:) I am a devout S&S fan too however...

S&T have a beautiful relationship. It tears me apart watching the anime and reading the manga sometimes knowing that Tomoyo loves Sakura so dearly but will never be with her in the way she would wish.
Tomoyo never ends up with sakura (in my opinion) because she is meant to be SO kind and unselfish that she never fufils her love. This way her character is set in stone and remembered as being the beautiful kind hearted girl with unrequited love for her best friend.
(if she did end up with Sakura that wouldn't be so) however, I also would have liked her to express her love in a kiss or something :) that would have been cute.
