Well, Chapter 96 is officially out in Japan... I'm just waiting for Chibi-Yuuto and LadyDarkmoon to get scans up... I'm also anxiously awaiting XXXHOLiC 90... I really should be writing a paper. I just thought I'd start this thread, so we're all prepared to discuss it when it comes up. Man, that was quite the ending last time. I need to stop procrastinating. Goodnight, y'all!

(downloads, extracts files from zip file, and proceeds to go read) Oh my god. (faints) Excuse my french, but HOLY SHIT! Wow, no wonder Kuro has such issues, to say the least.

And for those who also read XXXHOLiC... Wow, desune? Poor Watanuki. Doumeki is going to be so pissed at him, and we'll probably get a really, really good DoumekixWatanuki scene. (hee hee)

I love/hate it when Clamp tortures their characters.

I think we all need to take a moment to show our respect to Clamp. :noteworthy:

And now I really, really need to finish that paper.

That girl on the last few pages, is Souma's dear Kendappa! Yuki TOTALLY knew she was gonna be in Tsubasa, because when I got the Tsubasa Character Guide, there is a litttttle bitty picture of Kendappa next to Souma in a sketch form, and I showed it to everyone I knew in RL, but they didn't care... *sweatdrop* And I forgot to talk about it here... Probably because I knew it'd be a huge spoiler... Oh, and the pic is on page 205 of the character guide, and if anyone is interested, I'll scan it right away. ^_^ Now about Ken-chan, I called her Souma's DEAR Kendappa, cuz she is. They were in loooove 'cept Ken-chan killed Souma in the end of RG Veda (cuz they were on opposite sides) and then killed herself. *sniff* I told it like crap just now, but it's really a sad and sweet story...

Kurogane's mommy was all... coughing up blood man! that's so cruel! but it was even crueler when that demon appeared with daddeh's arm! gawd! that was crueeeeel! and siiiiick!
That Kendappa girl... could she be Tomoyo's mom? I know it would be weird but.... she looks so much like her.

I find it odd Souma hasn't aged a day...

But no, trust me, she's not Tomoyo's mom... She's from RG Veda, and she's in love with Souma.. If they make her Tomoyo's mom in Tsubasa, I'm not kidding, I'll be p*ssed because that'd be so weird...

So what do we think is up with Kendappa calling herself Amaterasu, huh? I'm guessing it 's just a name she uses in rather formal situations, whereas her friends would be able to address her as Kendappa. Is Tomoyo then her sister? I don't know. Maybe Tomoyo is her (Amaterasu/Kendappa's) niece? That would make more sense, with Tomoyo being so young.

Chapter 96 is so sad. Poor Kurogane was ... crying! I bet it will turn out to be one of those "I haven't cried since then" incidents. And I loved how he took up his father's sword like that ...

Things are finally piecing together as far as Kurogane's concerned. I also can't wait till we see how he gets the scar ... I guess that means Kuro-pon still has more pain to endure before he becomes the Kurogane we originally met.

Now that I know that Fei Wong has something to do with Kuro's past, I bet Clamp will tie all of their pasts together: Fai, Syaoran, Sakura ... and all the source of their problems will come from Fei Wong, which would further emphasize the idea of "hitsuzen." That all of them were destined to find each other and defeat the cause of their pain.

Yeah... Kurogane deserves the biggest glomp and hug in the world. And I know exactly who should give it to him...

Something tells me that Fei Wong didn't do this out of ulterior purpose.
If Kuro didn't suffer this sort of trauma, he wouldn't be this angsty, and occasionally obnoxious swordsman who got sent to travel with Syaoran.
Things don't happen here out of coincidences. Fei Wong must have expected Kuro to end up with Syaoran in the first place, but why Kuro?

Um... Kendappa can very well be just another subject of Tomoyo, like Souma. In RG-Veda, Kendappa is General of the East- JIkokuten, and she's wearing the similar armor she wore in RG-Veda, except it's whtie. I'm suspecting that Kendappa is gonna be Souma's lover in Tsubasa, too... I remember when Kuro sees another Souma in Outo, he starts looking for someone else he'd expect to see along with Souma... Isn't that nice, lovers together till the end
