Hmm... I think this thread needs to evolve into more of a real Syaoran discussion topic instead of just a place to act out the kidnapping, torture and protection of Syaoran. Or I have the feeling it might go soon.... ^^;;

I love both Syaoran's. I love Syaoran in CCS for being so cute and just awesome! He's one cool 10 year old! (By the way isn't he 12 in the 2nd movie?) I love Syaoran in TRC because she's so brave and willing to do anything to get Sakura's feathers/memories back.

CCS Syaoran's more mean, but he's cooler that way. I remember getting the second book of CCS (first arc) and LOVED Syaoran as his cuuuuuuuute evil self.

But I like TRC Syaoran more, cause he's older, and sweeter, and more hadnsome. And because he KNOWS he loves Sakura, and doesn't ignore it.

The one thing I've wondered about Syaoran is what was his past like? Was his mother the same like in CCS, or does he even have a mother for that matter?! Think about it;

Fei Wong Reed has control over him through his double. What if Syaoran is merely a genetic experiment, or a copy of something else.

And how did Fujitaka find him? Was he alone in the alleyway, or did somebody purposely place him there? And to futher my curiousity, what led them to the Kingdom of Clow? Was their sole purpose to study archeology, or were they led there by some greater force? What do you think minna?

Yeah, I'm too curious by nature.

As for studying archeology, I'm not stating that it was or wasn't magical. I was simply stating that there had to be a reason that led Syaoran and Fujitaka to the Kingdom of Clow. How did they end up there? And what was the reason? Or was it simply a coincidence, or further, was it destiny?!

Well I don't know much about Trc currently. I haven't seen it or read it. So that's a good question actually. Like everyone else said, probably destiny.
