The Guy Thread v2
« on: July 06 2006, 06:38 pm »
Since the first guy thread was locked for (ahem) PG-rated issues, not to mention it was started by a girl, I decided to put up a new guy thread, which is, well, more age-sensitive since there are really very young people in this forum, and that they may use an outlet for their growing up pains.

The rules from the first thread still apply, which mean everyone can talk about the things that bug every hot-blooded male in this planet.

Anyway, since most of us here are quite young, I figured you've had your share of bloody fists and hoarse throats, but after all, getting into any sort of fight is part of growing up. Still, many of us would either get into fight in any situation possible, while others would fight only when cornered, and others would prefer not to, with the risk of getting their a**es kicked. So....

(By the way, I'm still trying out how to make a thread with changeable polls, so bear with me XD.)

hey what's happening, its nearly been a year since the last time i tried to commit myself to the "Capturedwings Forum" and I was wondering what has happened?

anyways maybe there is a post where you can welcome introduce urself back to the community or let the community know that you'll be away for awhile, but i cant find  :-\ oh well..

sorry tenkuuken for going off topic, but anyways for me, as a rugged, handsome male like myself * :heh::heh:* I'm 18 now and just graduated last month and personaly havent been into a brawl or anything like that. *strange eh?*
I've been in heated arguments that tend to resolve in a good ol fashion fist fight. there was one incident with a good friend of mine, almost getting into a serious fight.

The guy who wanted to start him was a misunderstanding between the two and typicaly both being males, didnt want to back down on their pride on who was right. we told our friend not to do anything if he stasrted him becase of A) we didnt want him to stoop to those levels and there was no point and b) it was 5 of us versus 50 of them *talk about being in a foriegn ground*

it would appear the tension was to cool down for abit, but then one of the friends of the guy who wanted to start my friend threw a cheap shot at my firned out of no where.

we decide to hold him back and live another day

now now i know it seemed like a weak thing to do, but cmon it was 5 against the whole world. *but it wasnt that we couldnt hold our own, two of my friends know karate and i specialise as a street fighter.....in ps2 :okay:*

personaly i like to solve things out and resolve things. there are time where i feel like opening a 'can a whoop ***' on particular individuals who have infuriated my friends and I. *referring to the personal anecdote just then* but i just tend to take a deep breath and forget about.

if there is a time where i have no choice, then i would lay the smack down  =D

trash talking in the other hand is a different story for me =]p

sometimes i would like to say a few words before a competition, just for a bit of spice and fun >:D

I'd say now it's much more to half half since most the female users either stop posting or just lurk (for example, Endoh-sama).

c3d.. Lakers Avatar <3 Props to you dude!

I think in my life I've only been in an actual fight fight only a few times, mostly with my neighbour XD since he always seems to test my patience to the limit in always talking down to me~ which irritates the hell out of me.

Handsome 18 year old?
That means you were only 16 when you joined this forum! chibi-c3d, lol.

your friends know Karate? That's cool.
I started Bushido last year and it's been great to me ^_^
Ufortunately I've taken the last two months out :( I got an injury on my right wrist due to a fight then right after that healed I injured my left wrist by trying to raise my hand too fast and smacking it into some wood =_= then after that healed I got a black eye in a club (i'm a little hazy on how it all happened) so hopefully in the next few weeks I can start going again ^_^v

I would talk about girls in here too but, ya know.

not really a fan of my countries' sport, instead I prefer more american sports.

for the following sports I support these teams;

NHL : New Jersey Devils
NFL: Green Bay Packers
NBA : Los Angeles Lakers

mostly got into those teams through other people.

Not bad picks though in the NBA, we'd be mortal enemies since I'm an uber-Suns fan and we hate Flakers!

I follow the Phoenix Coyotes in the NHL and the Arizona Cardinals + a life-long St. Louis Rams fan of the NFL.

aye, I'm still quite new to the NFL scene, Since I've been supporting Packers for about a year now,

Lakers for roughly 5 years and New Jersey Devils for about 6 years.

Out of them all the teams I support, I have to say that I do love my NHL Team the most! <3

(Used to support mighty ducks after being infactuated with them through the movies and cartoon, But they lost their duck spirit when Kariya left and they lost the "mighty".
But because of who my ex-team are, the 2003 Stanley Cup was an incredible finish to the season for me <3 )
