yes.. my school uniform does look like harry potter's
your not the first ones to say it so it's ok -- heh talking about harry potter.. the school took us to see the first movie, and as we were all dressed in our uniforms, small kids started asking us about hogwarts.. haha very funny situation..they all kept stareing

but in your case public schools are good...here public schools are not an option.. they are literally falling apart.. it's a disaster-- and a pitty as well

awww. i think here our public school system is great. the education is much more harder than what you may get in a private school (or so i've heard) so i'm pretty content with public schools.

There are so many Filipinos here... wowee... I am happy to say I am filipina but I can't speak tagalog! So when someone calls who is Filipino and starts talking to me in Tagalog, I feel so embarassed when I say I can't understand because normally Filipino people can speak Tagalog. Even little kids that are like 4!

don't worry! i can't speak tagalog either. it is totally embarassing but i decided to make my mom embarassed by telling everyone she never taught me or spoke to me in tagalog when i was growing up.
