Actually, it can sound guitar like on open strings and piano like when you play harmonics on it. It's rather a specialist instrument that not many people know about except Chinese musicians and some Westerners. There's no frets so you stop the string and slide up and down it to alter the pitch. The sound is very mellow and meditative. I've mostly been self taught for over 2 and 3/4 years with a week and a half tuition from two qin masters visiting from China. I can play quite well on it.

Um... this would be what an insane girl who's been reading too much yaoi looks like at 3:30AM. You can't really see the screen but Sakaki can probably guess what site that is. :lol: My ears look weird because I have earphones on... its dark because I didn't use the flash... if I do I ALWAYS blink and the picture looks horrible (not that it already doesn't). :dodge:

Er..... and my walls are still bare white. Haven't got around to decorating yet. (ahem.. waiting for my KuroFai poster ><)
