Giorgia kept her temper in check. Her mouth twitched ever so slightly that even she didn't catch it. Ryoshine had a structure himself, she couldn't rely on him with personal matters. She had to keep a cool head if she wanted him at her side. If she didn't, she didn't know what, but something bad would happen to her.

"I...understand." She murmured quietly, turning to go.

"Giorgia, perhaps you should get some rest," Ryoshine suggested as he opened the door further. "It'll help you clear your mind," he smiled.

"Yes. Certainly. Sorry to disturb." Giorgia replied as she stepped into the hallway. As soon as the door closed, Giorgia raced back to the room Franz was in, pausing to listen if any body was in there. No one was, so they must have tried to get more supplies, or taken a break. Either way, Giorgia was glad. At the very least, in front of Franz, she could drop this facade. Opening the door, she stepped in, then closing the door behind her.

Franz was on the bed, his eyes closed. Giorgia watched with growing anxiety as Franz's breathing wasn't very deep. She quickly walked over to him, and gently put her little hand into his big one. She didn't know if he could hear her. In a way, she hoped he didn't, because if he did, that meant the pain medication, and sleeping pill hadn't worked, or had worn off, and Giorgia didn't want that for Franz.

"Franz?" She whispered, though another part of her wanted to see those marvelous blue eyes. His eyes fluttered, but nothing else happened.

Giorgia took a breath and let it out. "Franz...you can't die. You have to keep on living. You said you'd look after me, right? You're still good. And besides, you risked your life on something that you didn't even need to be a part of. Not even Hilshire can deny that. You did really well, Franz. You just can't go." Giorgia ended, unsettled. She leaned over, kissing Franz briefly on the forehead as she let go of his hand.

As she started back to the door, she muttered a parting.

"Ich liebe dich, Pate."

Opening the door, she slowly made her way to the room she was sharing.

Hillshire watched from down the hall just out of Giorgia's sight, and grinned slightly. He took out the earpiece and looked at the audio tape, then stuffed it into his pocket and walked away.

Ryoshine was working on his laptop, making sure the next few days were set. "Tomorrow we leave.. and then the real mission starts.." he said.

Giorgia tiredly collapsed on her bed, not bothering to change her clothes. She twisted and turned multiple times, trying to get comfortable, but failed. However, finally, after many many hours of fitful sleep, Giorgia fell asleep, with no dreams plaguing her mind.

Next Day

The clock rang, awaking Ryoshine from his sleep. He looked at the clock and realized it was early morning, "guess I was more tired than I thought," he said and glanced at Giorgia, who was still sound asleep. The bitter cold of the room caused him to take his warmer and place it over Giorgia, then with a smile he got up and went back to his laptop to finalize a few things before the drive.

A cold draft blew over Giorgia and she unconsciously shifted her position, curling up into a fetal position, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. Soon however, something warm descended on her and she relaxed again, sighing briefly. A couple of more minutes passed, and she was awake, and yet she didn't want to get up. To get up meant that she would have to face the day...something, that she didn't really want to do.

Groaning inwardly to herself, she opened her eyes, sitting herself up, suppressing a yawn with her hand.

"Had a pleasant sleep I hope?" Ryoshine smiled when he turned toward the young girl.

Giorgia nodded, trying to act like she usually did. She gave her handler a grin, before jumping off of the bed.

"Yes, I did. You too?" She inquired.

"Restless night, the thunder outside didn't help much," he said and gestured with his head toward the window, there was a faint sound of trickling rain outside along with the smell that came with it. "Take a look," he smiled.

Giorgia curiously stared out the window, eyes widening as she saw some damage due to the storm.

"Ah." She said quietly, turning back to look at Ryoshine. "Is everything still going to go as planned for today?" She inquired.

"Yes, the storm is just a light one so it shouldn't hamper our trip," Ryoshine said and glanced toward the door. "Shall we go and eat breakfast?"

Giorgia nodded, noticing the very formal air between the two as they started to walk to the breakfast room. Or maybe, everything WAS fine, maybe she was just letting her imagination get to her. Whatever the situation however, Giorgia calmly kept in step with Ryoshine as they grabbed an array of items for breakfast.

A table near the window was empty, and thus Ryoshine took a seat and smiled when Giorgia sat in the seat across. He looked at his cup of coffee and drank some of it's contents, then glanced out the window and into the weather torn sky. "So, what will today bring," he thought aloud.

Giorgia chewed on her toast silently, but was thinking throughout. Most certainly, what WOULD today bring? She cocked her head slightly at Ryoshine, asking the silent question, and in her curiosity, looked out once again at the window.

Immediately, Giorgia found Hillshire with his care, and she stopped chewing on her toast for a moment to watch what he was doing.

Giorgia immediately snapped her attention back to Ryoshine, slightly disturbed. "Nothing really. I thought I saw...Hillshire out there."

He blinked. "'thought' you saw?" he said and looked out but didn't notice Hillshire anywhere. "Hmmmm...." he stared at her for a second before taking his cup of coffee and sipping from it. "I see, was Triela with him by chance?"

Giorgia looked down for a moment at the table, then back up at Ryoshine. "No. No, Hillshire was alone. He was walking just-" She pointed, and traced the path, "along there." She spoke quietly.

Ryoshine looked, and then nodded. "I see, well, as long as he's not making you feel uncomfortable..." he said and finished his sentence right there as he watched a couple walk into the breakfast bar. He noticed the couple seemed nervous, if not, uncomfortable with seeing so little people in the bar. "Hmmm....."
