WWE NXT Results: 10-12-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results and challenge result.

1 -- NAOMI (w/Kelly Kelly) vs. ALICIA FOX (w/Maxine)

Alicia heeled on Naomi by pretending to beg off needing a break before landing a kick to the gut. Alicia worked over Naomi, who came back with a neckbreaker for a two count. Naomi then went up top and missed with a high cross-body block. Alicia then nearly botched an axe kick for a two count. She followed with a second axe kick and that was it.

WINNER: Alicia Fox in 4:00. Good focus on Naomi getting her some in-ring time. At times, it was hard to tell who was the Pro and Rookie in the ring.

2 -- A.J. (w/Primo) vs. GOLDUST (w/Aksana)

Goldust tried to encourage the shy Aksana from the ring apron as A.J. dominated early on. Aksana tried to follow with a scoop slam, but A.J. scored a pin with a roll up for the win. More problems for Aksana.

WINNER: A.J. in 2:00. Post-match took precedence...

After the match, Goldust took the mic and said the immigration issue must be driving her crazy. He said there are options. Yep, you knew this was coming three weeks ago. "We could get married," Goldust said. "What did you say?" Aksana asked. Goldust said he would do anything to help her. He dropped down to one knee and asked Aksana to marry him. Aksana contemplated her future and smiled before saying, "Yes." Cole screamed in celebration and said they finally have a reason to watch NXT. Cole said it's "bigger than Jim and Pam." Eh, no. Cole thanked them for saving the show tonight. And the video feed cut off, apparently signaling the end of the show, which checked in at 51 minutes this week.

Updated Immunity Standings after this week's reset:
-- A.J.: 1 point
-- Naomi: 1 point
-- Maxine: 0 points
-- Aksana: 0 points
-- Kaitlyn: 0 points

WWE Superstars Results: 10-14-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report).. Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- KELLY KELLY (w/Natalya) vs. LAYLA (w/Michelle McCool)

After the opening bell, Layla offered her former Extreme Expose partner an interpretative dance apparently distract Kelly. Layla took control early on, then Kelly made an obligatory comeback. Layla cut her off, then got cocky going for the Sharpshooter while teasing Natalya on the outside. Kelly escaped, though, and flung Layla to the outside. The referee was caught up with McCool on the outside, allowing Kelly to catch a distracted Layla with a roll-up back in the ring for the win.

WINNER: Kelly in 4:00. Fine match with the basic story of the babyfaces in control and the heels struggling to be on the same page again heading to Bragging Rights.

2 -- CURT HAWKINS vs. TRENT BARRETA

Hawkins took control early on by yanking Barrett off the top rope onto the ring apron. They cut to an early break.

The announcers tried to establish this match as a way to impress Smackdown team captain Big Show trying to get on the Bragging Rights line-up. Barreta made a comeback against "aggressive" Hawkins with some nice-looking aerial moves. He went up top one too many times and Hawkins dropped him to the corner of the ring. Hawkins then dropped the heat-seeking elbow from the top rope for the win.

WINNER: Hawkins in 10:00. You never know with WWE if it's a sign of someone in line for a push or just taking up space on Superstars, but they're certainly getting over Hawkins's finishing move.

3 -- PRIMO (w/A.J.) vs. DARREN YOUNG

They've managed to strip away Young's individuality in short order since he was kicked out of Nexus, making him just another guy now. Primo was the aggressor to start things off and scored a nearfall following a dropkick. Lawler noted he was at the New York Comic-Con over the weekend and Cole didn't have too many fans there. Young made a comeback with left hand jabs as Cole became agitated that Lawler was no-selling him. Cole told Lawler he used to "put over JR all the time" on commentary. Primo was looking for a backstabber, but Young countered into a full-nelson faceplant for the pin and the win. A.J. was sadly disappointed here. Young celebrated a bit as Primo rolled across the ring to get some consolation from A.J.

WINNER: Young in 4:00. Half the battle is staying on TV. Fine win for Young, although it's hard to stand out when WWE has toned his character down so much.

4 -- MELINA vs. ALICIA FOX (w/MAXINE)

Fox quickly controlled the proceedings and began working on Melina's left side. Melina then made a fired-up comeback with consecutive right hand strikes and clotheslines. Fox cut her off, though, and landed an inverted facebuster for a close nearfall. They cut to a shot of Maxine sellin disbelief ringside. Fox tried to finish off Melina with an Axe Kick, but Melina ducked and bridge pinned Alicia, showing off her flexibility, for the pin and the win. Melina celebrated to close things out book-ending Superstars with Divas matches.

WINNER: Melina in 5:00. Good main event. Nice to see them receive a TV main event slot, even if it Superstars.

TNA Impact! Results: 10-14-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Wilkenfeld's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only. Those who watched the show, except for the mockery of a women's match, the first 75 minutes of the show was all talk.

(1) MADISON RAYNE vs. TARA (c)
Knockouts Championship Match

Rayne points to the mat, and Tara lies down. Rayne makes the cover. The ref looks confused for a moment, then makes the count.

WINNER (and new Knockouts Champions): Madison Rayne in 5 seconds.

(2) SAMOA JOE vs. ABYSS

Joe storms the ring and unloads with a series of jabs in the corner. Abyss connects with a knee lift, but then whiffs on a charge and eats a Pele. Joe goes with a Face Wash. Abyss dodges a clothesline, but then Joe nails a new high side-kick. He drops a Senton Bomb on Abyss, then beats him over to the ropes. Abyss comes back with a Choke Slam out of nowhere, then leaves for a chair. Before he can get back in with it Joe Suicide Dives the chair back into Abyss. Abyss grabs the ring bell and whacks Joe in the head.

WINNER: Samoa Joe by DQ in 2 minutes.

Joe is busted open. Abyss rolls him back into the ring, but Joe can't get to his feet. Abyss starts to unload with punches when RVD's music hits. Abyss flees as RVD hits the ring. RVD calls down some trainers to help out, but Joe's in no mood to accept help—he shoves them away and storms off.

(3) "THE POPE" D'ANGELO DINERO vs. JAMES STORM, ROBERT ROODE, KAZARIAN, DOUGLAS WILLIAMS, & AJ STYLES (w/RIC FLAIR & MATT MORGAN)
Handicap Match

Williams starts things up locking up with Pope, who the crowd is back behind. Pope hits some quick strikes, but Williams brings him up short with a knee lift and a European Uppercut. He then runs squarely into a leaping forearm from Pope and a big uppercut for two. He tags in Kazarian, who gets knocked around the ring with some shoulder blocks before he tags in AJ. Pope knocks AJ down into the ropes and hits him with The Coronation, taking a moment to pop Flair at ringside. Morgan knocks him from behind and beats him down. He rolls Pope in to AJ, who covers for two before pulling Pope up. Roode tags in. Pope tries to rally, but can't. Roode tags in Storm for the Beer Money Suplex. Kazarian tags back in and hits a beautiful high dropkick for two. Kazrian whips Pope into the heels' corner—Pope elbows the heels. Kazarian holds Pope still for AJ's flying forearm. Pope dodges, but AJ stops himself short. Pope knocks him; AJ tries to come back with a Pele, but nails Kazarian. Pope runs AJ into Williams and gets a School Boy on Kazarian for a long two count. Beer Money come back in and hit the DWI, and Kazarian rolls into the cover.

WINNER: Fortune in four minutes.

(4) MR. ANDERSON vs. RVD
#1 Contender's Match

They trade forearms to start. The crowd sounds evenly split. Anderson goes to a knife edged shot, so RVD kicks him in the gut. Anderson tries to kick back, but RVD catches it and does his reverse Ensuguri. RVD beats Anderson into the corner and nails his Extreme Monkey Flip for two. Anderson rolls out of the ring for a breather, but eats a Baseball Slide. RVD flips out to the apron. Anderson tries to cut him off, but RVD kicks him off and nails a Moonsault from the apron to Anderson's head.

[END SHOW]

Reaction starts with RVD rolling Anderson into the ring. He goes to the top rope, but Anderson knocks the rope and crotches him. Anderson looks for a Superplex, but RVD shoves him off. RVD gets back up, but again Anderson crotches him, and this time nails the Superplex. A cover gets two. Another one gets two too. Anderson drives the tip of his boot into the side of RVD's temple. He whips RVD's off into the ropes, misses a clothesline but then connects with a back elbow for two. Anderson gets some strikes and then cinches in a chin lock. The crowd is chanting for RVD, who powers out before getting kneed back down for two. Anderson lays in with stomps, then chokes RVD against the middle rope. He drives RVD's head into the top turnbuckle, then Stomps a Mudhole in him. He yanks him out of the corner onto his back. RVD fights back from his knees. RVD ducks a clothesline and connects with a few of his own. He follows up with a Superkick and signals for Rolling Thunder. Anderson gets up and catches RVD in a Fireman's Carry position in one motion. RVD slips out and nails a Front Power Slam, then a Split Legged Moonsault for two. Anderson connects with a quick Green Bay Plunge for two. He goes to the top rope and goes for a Swanton Bomb (the announcers completely miss the point of that). RVD rolls out of the way and quickly goes for a Five Star Frog Splash, but Anderson gets his knees up. Bischoff comes down to the ring, where he whispers something to Brian Hebner. Hebner doesn't seem happy, as apparently he's been ordered away from the ring. Bischoff and Hebner walk off. As soon as the ref is gone Hardy runs down with a chair. He whacks RVD in the back, then Anderson. He puts Anderson's arm into a chair, then Twist of Fates RVD into the chair.

WINNER: No contest in eleven minutes.

WWE Smackdown Results: 10-15-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Park's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 – REY MYSTERIO vs. CODY RHODES – BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH

Striker said winning the Bragging Rights match affords the winning brand certain luxuries, such as getting the first pick in the Draft Lottery and getting to board the plane first for interbrand shows. Front-first suplex by Rhodes, but a cover only got one. The match slowed within the first minute of the contest. Mysterio wiggled out of a suplex and set Rhodes up for a 619, but Cody escaped the ring before any damage could be done. They went to break about 2:10 into the match.

Rhodes had a version of the rear chinlock applied on Rey, while the crowd was trying to get their man back into the match. Beautiful dropkick from Rhodes after a surprise near-fall by Mysterio. Rhodes fell back with Mysterio in a chicken-wing submission hold. The youngest Rhodes showed a lot of aggressiveness, using kicks and an elbowdrop to keep Mysterio down near the ropes. Overhead wheelbarrow throw for only a two-count. Rhodes tried a knee-drop off the ropes, but Mysterio moved. Seated senton off the top by Rey, then a cross-body, but Cody rolled through for a near-fall. Mysterio rolled through a sunset flip and kicked Rhodes in the face. Unfortunately, Rhodes had to wait seated a beat or two too long, and it didn’t look great. Springboard legdrop from Rey for two. Rhodes came back with an Alabama Slam attempt, but Rey turned it into a headscissors into 619 position. That connected, as did a springboard splash for the win.

WINNER: Mysterio, at 10:36. Kind of had a weird flow to it at times, but overall, the match worked for me.

2 – JACK SWAGGER vs. MVP - BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH

Swagger’s mascot was back this week. MVP went for an early cover, but only got a one-count. Swagger tried to flee MVP early on, but found an opening and threw MVP shoulder-first into the ring post. He tried it with the opposite post, but MVP stopped him short and booted him in the face. Face-first went Swagger, courtesy of MVP. He set up for the Ballin’ elbowdrop. It found the mark. Swagger slid out of the ring and took a break, but when MVP went out after him, the Swagger Soaring Eagle stood in front and did a dance. MVP threw the Eagle over the announce table. Back in the ring, Swagger took advantage of the distraction and locked in the ankle-lock for the submission victory.

WINNER: Swagger, at 2:14. Not much to this one. Good to see Swagger get a spot on the team though.

3 – ALBERTO DEL RIO vs. CHRIS MASTERS – BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH

Show was still with the announcers doing guest commentary. Kind of the bottom of the barrel with Masters here. Unless he’s the Smackdown version of Santino Marella. Del Rio did not cleanly break in the corner, but Masters suplexed Del Rio down early for a two-count. He tried the Masterlock within the first minute, but Del rio got to the ropes. Shot to the left arm by Del Rio. More work on the arm by the newcomer. Missed clothesline by Del Rio led to a Samoan drop from Masters. He fired back with clotheslines of his own, but Del Rio again went to the arm. One-armed bodyslam by Masters for a near-fall. Arm-breaker on the knee by Del Rio, followed by his cross arm-breaker. Quick tap-out by Masters.

WINNER: Del Rio, at 2:24. Good win for Del Rio after the loss to Mysterio last week.

4 – EDGE vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER – BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH

Again, Show was on commentary. Ziggler came out alone for his match. The two men traded holds as Vickie Guerrero and Kaitlyn were shown watching the match backstage, together. Edge avoided a boot in the corner and took the legs out from under his opposition. Ziggler fired back with elbows and did some choking of Edge in the middle ropes. Ziggler ended up grounding Edge, but Edge was soon back on his feet. Ziggler was shot off the ropes, but slipped under the bottom rope. Edge met him with a baseball slide. He rolled Ziggler back in the ring, but Dolph got Edge with a boot to the face. He laid in the boots to the chest of Edge while Edge was lying on the mat. Edge ran into an elbow in the corner and Ziggler set up for a Tornado DDT. Edge finagled his way out and booted Ziggler off the top rope and to the arena floor. Ziggler turned things around by simply avoiding the spear. He performed the Zig Zag on Edge, with the back of Edge’s head bouncing off the ring steps. The count was applied by referee John Cone. Edge did make it back in at nine. That’s another type of move that, to me, should be a count-out. Not only was it the finisher of Ziggler, but against the steel steps. Ziggler stayed on offense as they went to break about 5:00 in.

Back with Ziggler dominating Edge on the mat. They showed a replay of the Zig Zag on the outside, and the move looked nasty on replay too – it would’ve been easy for Edge’s head to hit the edge of the steps. Ziggler missed a corner splash and Edge pancaked him. Both men got to their feet and Edge caught Ziggler with a few clotheslines. Two-count for the Rated R Superstar. Sunset flip by Ziggler, but Edge set Ziggler up for the catapult, and Ziggler went head-first into the steel post behind the turnbuckle. Edge-O-Matic for two. Sleeper locked in, but he couldn’t get it fully and Edge DDT’d Ziggler for a near-fall. Crowd was really into it at this point. Edge shrugged off a Zig Zag. Ziggler dodged a spear and went to the second rope, only to be speared out of mid-air. Edge made the cover and got the pin, much to the delight of Smackdown’s team captain.

WINNER: Edge, at 13:00. Individually, both men seem to have become stale in the ring lately, but this match was pretty entertaining.

5 – THE BIG SHOW vs. KAVAL – IF KAVAL LASTS FIVE MINUTES, HE BECOMES A MEMBER OF THE BRAGGING RIGHTS TEAM

The countdown began as soon as the bell rang. Kaval managed to avoid contact until 20 seconds in. Show caught a kick and slapped Kaval right in the chest. Another one by Show in the corner. Show stepped on the lower lumbar region of Kaval. He picked Kaval up by the head and just dropped him. We’re just over a minute in now. Show picked up Kaval and bodyslammed him down at 1:45 of the match. Show implored Kaval to stay down, but the NXT Season Two winner would not heed the warnings of the big man. Kaval fought back with rights to the mid-section, but Show landed a forearm that made the difference. Another slap to the chest by Show. Kaval still tried to get off the mat as the match reached the 3:00 mark. Kaval fought back again, but Show threw him into the corner and again chopped Show. Beal out of the corner that sent Kaval half-way across the ring. Show stepped on Kaval’s head and pulled on his arm. Show, with one arm, just pushed Kaval over the top rope, seemingly content with a count-out win. 45 seconds to go. Instead, Show picked up Kaval by the top of his head and put him back in the ring. Kicks to the leg by Kaval. He went to the second rope and kicked Show in the back of the head. Kaval got Show to a knee and fought off a chokeslam long enough to survive.

WINNER: Kaval, at 5:00. Kaval got so little offense in, it rides a fine line of credibility for Kaval. He survived 5:00 with Big Show, but didn’t really impress. It didn’t help that Cole and Grisham said Show could’ve put Kaval away early on.

- Kaval was still in the ring, and still in pain. Then Tyler Reks walked out to some generic music. He had a new look, staying with the dreads, but he had a beard as well. He did his best, “talk in my deepest voice because I’m a heel” work. Reks said he’s going to be the newest Smackdown breakout star and HE should be on Team Smackdown. He wanted to fight Kaval for his spot, but Teddy Long came out and said Kaval isn’t in any condition to fight after the match with Big Show. Kaval disagreed, saying if Reks wants his spot, he’s going to have to take it.

6 – KAVAL vs. TYLER REKS

Kaval tried to go for his double-stomp early but missed. Hard shoulder knock-down by Reks. He’s a long way from the surfer dude character he portrayed in ECW. Reks did a Torture Rack into a DDT on Kaval to get the pinfall win.

WINNER: Reks, at :54. That’s certainly an interesting development. I’d have to guess things will change with Reks being in the match before Bragging Rights.

7 – DREW MCINTYRE vs. KOFI KINGSTON – BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH

McIntyre nailed Kingston early on with a boot and Kingston kicked out at two. More work from McIntyre, this time on the apron. This is for the final Bragging Rights Smackdown spot, while Raw still has one to fill. Shots to the back of the head by McIntyre, but Kingston countered into a cross-body for two. Out of nowhere came the Trouble in Paradise and Kingston got the win.

WINNER: Kingston, at 2:14. McIntyre lost quickly, but got enough offense in to look decent.

WWE RAW Results: 10-18-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- WWE Unified tag champions CODY RHODES & DREW MCINTYRE vs. HART DYNASTY (TYSON KIDD & D.H. SMITH w/Natalya) -- non-title match

Kidd started things off and the heels quickly took it to him. They had the shaky camera early with the crowd rallying behind Kidd, who teased a comeback, only to have Cody kick him in the gut as he was hung across the top rope. Smith eventually took a hot tag at 2:00 and cleaned house on Drew before landing a leg drop for a two count. He wanted the running Bulldog powerslam, but Cody broke up a pin attempt. Kidd then popped Cody from the ring apron. He wanted the Hart Attack with Smith on Mac, but things kind of slowed down. Awkward pause. Smith dropped McIntyre to apply the Sharpshooter, then released it when Kidd screamed at him. Drew then kicked Smith in the knees and hit the Future Shock DDT for the pin and the win as Kidd failed to break up the pin. Kidd dropped off the apron and shouted at Natalya that Smith screwed it up. Smith complained to Natalya as Kidd flashed sort of a heelish smile on the way to the back.

WINNERS: Drew & Cody at 3:22. And the tension continues. The tag champs are an afterthought at this point, and it remains to be seen where they're going with the teased split. Kidd is ready to break out on his own, and apparently it could be as a heel. (*)

2 -- GOLDUST (w/Aksana) vs. ZACK RYDER

Goldust finished off Ryder in 25 seconds with the Final Cut. DiBiase then charged the ring and attacked DiBiase from behind looking to get his title belt back. Maryse tried to get the belt while DiBiase was stomping on Goldust, but Aksana took the belt and ran to the back. Maryse gave chase. DiBiase screamed after her, then Goldust dropped DiBiase with the Final Cut. Goldust's music hit as Cole recapped Goldust still holding the belt hostage.

WINNER: Goldust at 0:24. (n/a)

3 -- WWE champion RANDY ORTON & JOHN CENA vs. HUSKY HARRIS & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY

Cena started things off as the aggressor working over Hennig. Cena pounded and stomped and kicked away at Hennig, who rolled out of the ring to the floor and nearly crashed into the Bragging Rights trophy. "Is that good enough for you?!" Cena shouted toward Nexus on stage as they cut to break.

Back live, Randy Orton delivered a textbook dropkick on Hennig for a two count. Cole recapped that Orton and Cena worked well as a tag team during the commercial. Cena tagged back in and tried to fight off both Nexus candidates before Hennig landed a dropkick on Cena to cut him off. Harris then tagged in and started pounding away on Cena with clubbing forearms. Husky then got down into a defensive lineman stance and charged Cena for a big splash in the corner. Hennig re-entered and got a piece of Cena before Harris re-entered and landed a flying clothesline/splash type move for a two count. The crowd to rally behind Cena again, then Cena avoided a big splash from Husky. Orton begged for a tag as Cena crawled over to his corner and made the tag.

Orton came in hot and landed a big powerslam on Hennig. Orton did his IED facial expressions before taking Hennig off the second rope spike DDT. Orton shot a look toward Barrett on the stage, then teased the RKO on Hennig. Harris tried to enter the ring, but Cena nailed the Attitude Adjustment on Harris, which looked impressive. Orton then dropped Hennig with the RKO and made the pin for the win.

WINNERS: Orton & Cena at 7:53. Harris stood out more than Hennig, who did most of the selling for Cena and Orton during the match. Decent story to the match leading to the post-match taking precedent over the in-ring. (*3/4)

4 -- NATALYA vs. ALICIA FOX

Collar-and-elbow tie-up to start, then a clean break, but Alicia sucker-punched Natalya with a forearm strike to begin an offensive attack. Natalya came back with a suplex and teased the Sharpshooter. Alicia tried to grab the ropes to escape, but Natalya dragged her back to center ring and slapped on the Sharpshooter for the win as the crowd popped.

Post-match: McCool and Layla walked out to rain on Natalya's parade. McCool said she sees Harts everywhere and it makes her sick. Layla said Harts don't belong in the Hall of Fame. McCool said they belong in the loony bin, just like Natalya. Lay-Cool used the two-on-advantage and McCool applied the Sharpshooter to boos. Layla snapped a photo for humiliation purposes, then Natalya reversed the hold. Lay-Cool eventually bailed from the ring to save it for Sunday.

5 -- THE MIZ vs. BIG SHOW

Big Show quickly took it to Miz, then knocked him to the outside. MVP got down on the ground and talked trash to Miz while Show started shoving Raw folks down. Suddenly, Teddy Long's music hit. Long came out on stage and said that since Bragging Rights is only six days away, he suggested they change it to a Smackdown vs. Raw battle royal. The crowd liked that better than a one-on-one match-up. It shows how much WWE has watered down the concept of seeing two wrestlers have a one-on-one battle to settle an issue.

WINNER: Match stopped. (n/a)

6 -- RAW vs. SMACKDOWN BATTLE ROYAL

Back from break, the bell sounded and bodies started flying out of the ring. Meanwhile, Hornswoggle popped Cole's headsets off his head. Cole said one of the teams could build "huge momentum" with a victory here. Suddenly, there was more screaming on the headsets as Hornswoggle hi-jacked Cole's position at the broadcast table. He grunted as Lawler told him to call the action. Mysterio, in his Zubaz pants, hung on to the ropes to avoid being eliminated as more bodies continued to fly. Show and generic Smackdown men then eliminated Henry to get one of the big men out of the match. The crowd became bored and chanted for Bret Hart again.

Raw was down to four or five men as opposed to Smackdown's six or seven as Show continued to dominate men. Sheamus was reduced to just another guy in the middle of this as Morrison and Del Rio started fighting on the top turnbuckle. They had a double knock down and both men fell to the floor. Swagger, Punk, and a random man from Raw went out. Swagger complained to Edge about eliminating him with them being on the same team, so Swagger yanked Edge to the floor and slapped on the Anklelock.

Zeke eliminated Mysterio at the top of the hour. Miz was on the floor acting sneaky here. Jackson then eliminated two Smackdown men, leaving Jackson, Sheamus, and Daniel Bryan. Show dumped out Bryan rather quickly, then made his way to the back. Sheamus and Jackson proceeded to give Show a big suplex, then Zeke splashed Show in the corner. Show fought back and choked Zeke over the top rope. Miz snuck in the back door and tried to eliminate Show, but Show held on. Edge suddenly re-entered the ring and speared Sheamus. Show eliminated Miz, then Edge eliminated Sheamus for the win. Edge sold an ankle injury as Hornswoggle paraded around the ring with the flag to celebrate.

WINNERS: Show & Edge for Team Smackdown at 8:31.

ROH on HDNet Live Results: 10-18-10

Result courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). There was only one match on the show.

1 -- TYLER BLACK vs. DAVEY RICHARDS

The match quickly moved to the outside where chops were exchanged at a fast pace. Black dominated early on as the announcers Hogewood and Prazak debated Black "taking the money" and going to WWE rather than taking ROH's competitive offer. Back in the ring, Richards took control of the action with a cross-arm submission, but Black flipped over into a cross-arm submission of his own. Richards escaped, then hit a kick to the chest for a two count. Very even back-and-forth in the first eight minutes to tell a story of two evenly matched top wrestlers competing for victory.

Black took control of the match set up Richards working back into the match. They traded right hand bombs, with Richards getting the best of the exchange to knock Black to the outside. Richards then nailed a suicide dive and nearly flipped over into the front row to take Black to the ground. Back in the ring, Richards came off the top with a missile dropkick. Black then took a boot to the head and they started trading forearm smashes. Richards won the exchange with a high kick to the head and Black kicked out of a pin attempt.

At 13:30, Richards teased the DR Driver, but Black blocked. Black then knocked Richards to the floor and landed more offense. Back in the ring, Black nailed a springboard clothesline, followed by a lift-up gutbuster out of the fireman's carry position. Black made a cover, but Richards kicked out in time. The crowd rallied behind Richards, who sold on the mat as Black positioned him for a top-rope move. Black teased the Phoenix Splash, but Richards came to his feet and crotched Black. Back on their feet, Richards hit the Alarm Clock kick, Black came back with a strike, then Richards dropped Black on his head with an inside-out running clothesline to put both men on the mat.

At 20:00, they came to their feet on the ring apron and exchanged tired strikes. Richards then nailed five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten kick strikes to the chest. He set up for a suplex and proceeded to DDT Black face-first onto the edge of the ring apron. Black got up and teased walking away from the match, but opted to run back into the ring just before a 20 count. Richards followed with a suplex for a two count, then hit a German Suplex with a bridge for a two count. Black tried to follow with a Shooting Star Press, but Black moved and hit the Buckle Bomb. Black followed with a standing sidekick and made a cover for another two count.

They came to their feet again at 23:30 and countered each other's trademark offense. Black then hit God's Last Gift, but Richards kicked out in time. Black then hung up Richards in the corner and slapped the crap out of time multiple times before landing a double foot stomp to the head. Black followed up with a coast-to-coast dropkick and tried a cover, but Richards kicked out in time. Great sequence. Again, Black went up top for the Phoenix Splash, but Richards got his knees up to block.

At 26:30, they set up another sequence of moves exchanged, then Richards hit the DR Driver for a close two count. Richards followed right up with a Buckle Bomb of his own before hitting God's Last Gift for another nearfall. Richards then slapped on the Texas Cloverleaf without wasting any time and Black tapped out, giving Richards the final word in their ROH feud.

WINNER: Richards via submission at 27:15. Easily one of the best TV matches of the year with a great finishing sequence playing up the story of their feud with neither man able to get the upper hand no matter what each one tried. The crowd really got into the action at the end after being subdued early on. Nice, multi-layered story told from two pros in the ring. The only drawback was the match never seemed to be in jeopardy of ending early, which took away a sense of anticipation of an early pin attempt perhaps ending the match at any time. (****1/4)

Post-match: After a replay of the high points of the match, they cut back to Richards and Black recovering in the ring. Hogewood said they wish Black well in his future endeavors. Richards then took the mic and told Black to tell the WWE wrestlers if they want some real wrestling competition, come down to ROH. Richards then left the ring and saluted the crowd from the top of the stage to conclude the show.

WWE NXT Results: 10-19-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring and competition points.

1 -- KAITLYN (w/Vickie) vs. MAXINE (w/Alicia)

Back from break, Kaitlyn was sporting the C.M. Punk-style hoodie to compete tonight. Vickie and Alicia were wired for sound with headsets as they watched from the ring apron. Cole joked they found Smackdown's new announce team. Mathews just muttered under his breath that he doesn't know what's going on. Cole said it's the single worst segment ever. Maxine began tugging on Kaitlyn's sweatshirt, causing panic by Vickie. After several moments of silence, Mathews announced that Cole was taking a phone call. They cut to a shot of Cole walking away from the table to take the call. He motioned to the ring like he couldn't believe he was watching this. Cole handed the phone over to Chimel for some reason.

Back at the announce table, Cole revealed he was on the phone with his mom. Suddenly, Vickie was accidentally bumped off the ring apron in an awkward spot. Cole said there's a reason why they're on dot com. After a botched sunset flip attempt, Maxine rolled up Kaitlyn with a small package for the win. Kaitlyn, frustrated, yanked off the sweatshirt and threw it at Vickie.

WINNER: Maxine in 4:00. For argument's sake that they weren't intentionally trying to botch spots to give Cole and Mathews more opportunities to get over their "Mystery Science 3000" commentary style on NXT, it's an indictment of WWE's developmental system not having wrestlers ready for TV.

2 -- BELLA TWINS vs. KELLY KELLY & NAOMI

Cole said he can't believe Naomi went on Twitter saying she could take him out. He said no one knocks Wolf Blitzer on the stories he covers. The Bellas started things off working over Kelly, who eventually tagged in Naomi. The crowd chanted for Goldust as Naomi went to work on Brie. Suddenly, a pier-six brawl broke out when the Bellas thought Naomi was working stiff in the ring. Nikki messed with Naomi's hair, then went to work on Naomi as Kelly looked for a tag from the ring apron. Nikki showed aggression dropping Naomi on her head before tagging Brie in. Naomi then broke out of the Bella corner before Nikki yanked her down from the outside. They pulled the switcheroo, which now has a name of "Twin Magic," to score the pin on Naomi. The Bellas celebrated the win as Brie sold that she was a bit thrown by her sister's attitude.

WINNERS: Bellas in 5:00. And your breakout star of the show: Nikki, for tapping into her heel persona from last year that the announcers completely forgot about. Decent match with the Bellas working well to make it seem like a realistic competition for a match victory. (*1/4)

Naomi won the 'Guess the wrestler' and 'limbo' competition, leads over A.J. 3-1, the other three have no points.

WWE Superstars Results: 10-21-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring resuts only.

1 -- SANTINO MARELLA & KOZLOV vs. USOS (JIMMY & JEY w/Tamina)

Cole noted that the night Santino qualified for Team Raw, Tamina came to the ring and tackled him to celebrate Santino's qualification victory. Santino feigned an injury and tagged in Kozlov, who shoved down Jey. Jimmy then tagged in and Kozlov dropped him on his stomach with a waistlock. The Usos began dominating Kozlov as Santino begged the ref to open his eyes. They cut to break with the Usos in control.

Back from break, the Usos were still dominating Kozlov as Santino became frustrated with his inability to get a hot tag. Lawler said he is a little concerned with Santino being the weak link on Team Raw at Bragging Rights. Kozlov finally broke free and tagged in Santino, who landed a hip toss and raised the roof. Santino delivered the Sailor Salute fist drop for a two count as the action broke down. Santino then busted out the Cobra and dropped Jimmy for the pin and the win. They cut to a shot of Tamina trying to hold back a smile as she checked on her men. After a replay of the finish, they showed the Usos complaining to each other while Tamina quietly waved toward Santino to acknowledge his success in the ring.

WINNERS: Santino & Kozlov in 14:00. Basic, predictable tag match trying to focus on Santino ahead of the Bragging Rights PPV. It's just not realistic for someone like Kozlov to sell for an extended length of time building to the hot tag to Santino. (*1/4)

2 -- DARREN YOUNG vs. WILLIAM REGAL

Regal dominated early on and took Young to the mat to try to control him on the mat. Cole said Regal likes to "pound and ground." Lawler said it's "ground and pound." Cole shot back that at least he didn't call Santino's finisher the Scorpion rather than the Cobra. Young gained control of the match with a side headlock, then pounded on Regal with a forearm to the back. Regal ducked a second and rammed Young into the top turnbuckle before landing a knee strike to the head. Regal followed with forearms to the face before applying a reverse chinlock. Young fought back before Regal landed an uppercut. Regal face-washed Young in the corner, then nailed his big running knee to the head for the pin and the win. Regal lingered in the ring a bit after the match to respectfully acknowledge the fight Young gave him.

WINNER: Regal in 5:00. A good, heart scrap in the ring. They're trying to get over a "toughness" dimension to Young's character, with Regal giving him an endorsement in that area post-match. Solid. (*1/2)

3 -- WWE tag champions CODY RHODES & DREW MCINTYRE vs. FLEXIN' & BALLIN' (CHRIS MASTERS & MVP) -- non-title match

Masters and Rhodes started things off with Masters rocking Cody with clubbing forearm smashes. Cody wanted no part of MVP, who tagged in as Cody slid across the ring to tag in Drew. The pace picked up with MVP working over Drew before Masters tagged in. Masters and MVP then cleared the heels from the ring and pumped themselves up as they cut to break.

Back from break, Cody was working over Masters's leg following a sneak attack from Drew during the break. Cody had a good laugh as he methodically worked over Masters, who teased a hot tag to MVP before Cody cut him off. Enter Drew. MVP eventually took the hot tag as Cody tagged in. MVP landed three consecutive German Suplexes before landing a running boot to the face. MVP knocked Drew off the ring apron before dropping Cody with multiple clotheslines. MVP then set up Cody for the Ballin' elbow drop and connected.

MVP wanted to finish things off with the Playmaker, but Drew broke it up. Masters then slapped on the Masterlock as the action broke down. MVP was eventually left alone in the ring where the numbers came caught up to him as Cody raked MVP's eyes from behind before hitting Cross Rhodes. Cody with the pin on MVP for the win.

Post-match: They cut to a shot of Masters having a huge bump underneath his left eye that was already swollen up, apparently from when he was dumped to the outside during the finishing sequence scrum. They cut to a final shot of Drew and Cody celebrating in the ring to close out the show.

WINNERS: Rhodes & McIntyre in 12:00. Solid tag match. Nice back and forth, with MVP showing renewed vigor during the match and the tag champs continuing to show more chemistry as a unit. It would be nice if they actually came out to the ring together to dispel the thought of them being two singles guys just thrown together as a tag team. (**)

TNA Impact! Results: 10-21-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Keller's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- AMAZING RED vs. ROBBIE E. (w/Cookie)

Amazing Red is back! What, he never left? When was his last TV match? Whatever happened to Don West being his manager? This began at 9:20 p.m. It ended at 9:21.

WINNER: Robbie E. in 1:00

2 -- A.J. STYLES vs. "THE POPE" D'ANGELO DINERO -- Street Fight for the TV Title

This began at 8:42. Taz continued his slide into being a heel-sympathizer (albeit inconsistently applied) in defending Bischoff for wanting to create a "fair regime." They brawled on the stage before Styles entered the ring. Taz defended Styles against Tenay's implication that Styles needs his cohorts to win matches. Tenay denied that's what he was implying. Styles used a low-blow to gain the advantage at 2:00 as they first entered the ring. Styles shoved Pope through the ropes to the floor. Styles went for a slingshot dive onto Pope at ringside, but Pope moved and Styles crashed to the floor at 4:00. Abyss attacked Pope from behind. Taz admitted this wasn't fair "and kinda stinks." Abyss gave Pope a Black Hole Slam. Styles smiled and spanked him as a thanks. Styles made the cover. The ref Earl Hebner made a slow reluctant three count and glared at Styles the whole time.

WINNER: Styles in 6:00.

STAR RATING: *1/4

3 -- ROB VAN DAM & SABU vs. BEER MONEY

We're 80 minutes in with about 7 minutes of wrestling. This began at 10:21 p.m. Taz said RVD and Sabu have tagged up for many years many times in the past. Taz wondered why Bischoff picked Sabu to team with RVD. Tenay said he must not be paying attention to Bischoff's career. Taz said it was a rhetorical question. Tenay said he lived it every day in WCW. Tenay accused Taz of being overly friendly to Bischoff and Hogan. Taz said he's always been friendly to them. By 3:00 Beer Money took control of Sabu. Tenay hyped that Mickie James's in-ring TNA debut was coming up along with an Ultimate X match. RVD hot-tagged in at 4:00. Sabu and RVD each hit back somersault splashes leading to a two count on Roode. They continued with double-team moves leading to Storm breaking up another pin attempt. Four-way action ensued. Sabu grabbed a chair and threw it at Storm, but Storm ducked and the chair hit RVD in the head. Roode made the cover and scored the pin. Taz said he can't remember the last time he saw those two miss that chair move. Tenay wondered if it was an accident or premeditated. Taz said he's not sure and he won't take a side.

WINNERS: Beer Money in 5:00.

-Afterward RVD shoved Sabu and accused him of being on Bischoff's side. Sabu and RVD squared of and were about to come to blows when the rest of EV2 ran to the ring and pulled them apart.

4 -- SARITA vs. MICKIE JAMES

This began at 10:35. Taz and Tenay continued to bicker as they plugged the Bischoff explanation coming up in Reaction. Taz said Mickie has "John Nord boots." Tenay wondered where that came from. Taz said he was surprised he brought up John Nord during a Knockouts match. Mickie won with a Thesz Press off the top rope followed by a reverse sidekick.

WINNER: Mickie in 4:00.

STAR RATING: *1/4 -- Nice short match. Good chance for Mickie to show she is a Knockout who can wrestle and look tough doing it. Not everything was graceful, but at least it felt higher impact than most women's matches. Curious how this does in the Q7 ratings, although it's looking like it'll be offset somewhat by being a quarter with two commercial breaks.

5 -- KAZ vs. MR. ANDERSON -- Ultimate X Match

Kaz entered the ring and immediately moved across the cable and went for the big X. Anderson grabbed him by his leg and yanked him down and fought one-armed aggressively. Tenay called him gutsy. Taz said it was all heart. The crowd chanted "An-der-son!" Kaz slidekicked Anderson in the face as they cut to a break.

Back from the break, Anderson again yanked Kaz away from his grip on the X by swinging him until he fell onto his back. Anderson tried to work his way one-armed across the ring, but when he tried to hang on with his weak arm, he immediately fell. Anderson continued to try to stop Kaz from grabbing the X even if he couldn't grab it himself. He gave Kaz a Mic Check, but Tenay said he can't seize that opening thanks to Fortune. Anderson looked under the ring for help. Taz wondered if there was a prosthetic arm under there. Good line. Anderson pulled out a ladder. Tenay explained how that would help. Taz said, "Thank you, Captain Obvious." Finally. Good line, Taz. Anderson climbed the ladder and pulled on the X. The rest of Fortune came out. Morgan gave Anderson a powerbomb. They kicked the ladder out of the ring, then Morgan put Kaz on his shoulders and walked him over to the X which he disconnected to win.

WINNER: Kaz in 9:00.

STAR RATING (**): Not designed to be a classic style match, but the story they wanted to tell was told well. They're building heat on the heels and putting the babyfaces in a sympathetic position while pushing them as valiantly fighting against impossible odds.

WWE Smackdown Results: 10-22-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Park's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 – THE BIG SHOW & REY MYSTERIO & KOFI KINGSTON vs. THE MIZ & SHEAMUS & EZEKIEL JACKSON

This kind of takes the luster off of the seven-man match this Sunday, especially seeing some of these guys interact for the first time. Case in point, Sheamus started things off with Mysterio. Sheamus’ power got the best of Rey’s speed, at least early on. Mysterio tagged Kingston, who landed a springboard cross-body for a two-count. He kicked away at Sheamus, but Sheamus put him down soon after. Kingston low-bridged Sheamus, and Mysterio dropped a seated senton on him. They went to break about 2:30 into the match, with Sheamus still recovering on the outside.

Jackson was in there with Sheamus out of break, and Striker tried to talk about Jackson’s character. The Raw team isolated Kingston and made frequent tags to keep him from bringing a fresh man in. Kingston got close a couple times, and finally kicked Miz off to make the tag to Big Show. The match broke down with all six men getting involved not long after. Miz came off the top rope and right into a chokeslam. Rey climbed on Show’s shoulders and splashed Miz for the win.

WINNER: Team Smackdown, at 8:38. Odd that Miz would take the pinfall loss here. Otherwise, a match that shouldn’t have to take place to hype up the PPV tag match if WWE spent any kind of time creating a rivalry between the two brands in the previous 51 weeks. It just feels like WWE has no other ideas to build the tag match besides having the wrestlers involved fight each other, which makes the actual tag match less special.

2 – JACK SWAGGER vs. SANTINO MARELLA

Santino tried a flying punch, but only half-heartedly, to take Swagger out of his game early on. Swagger took Santino down and rolled around with him until Santino rolled out of the ring. The Swagger mascot quietly made his way over to Santino as if to interfere, but before he could get there, Hornswoggle ran out to keep the eagle at bay. Back in the ring, Swagger shoved Santino a couple times, until Santino fought back. Single-arm take-over by Marella, but that was all he could do. Swagger clothelsined Marella in the corner, then tossed him out of the ring. Horny kept the eagle at bay again, and the announcers discussed the obvious issue, that being Hornswoggle protecting a Raw superstar. Santino gave the cobra to the eagle and Horny gave him the tadpole splash on the outside. In the ring, Santino took it to Swagger, then set up the cobra. Swagger instead grabbed the leg and applied the ankle-lock for the win.

WINNER: Swagger, at 2:54. As usual with Santino, the extracurricular events got more of the focus than the match.

3 – ALBERTO DEL RIO vs. JOHN MORRISON

The wrestlers are all competing while wearing their show’s respective t-shirts. Snap-mare and a kick to the back by Del Rio. Double-leg take-down, then Morrison hammered away on his opponent. Running knee to the head only got a one-count. Del Rio turned things around with a back-breaker. Kick to the back by Del Rio, and a beauty. Bell-to-back suplex for a two-count by Del Rio. Alberto continued to work the neck of his Raw counterpart. Del Rio did miss a move in the corner – not sure what it was supposed to be, almost a dropkick I guess, but one you don’t see. Morrison went on the offensive, but Del Rio landed a German suplex with a bridge for a two-count. Morrison ducked the enziguiri, but Del Rio got his knees up on Starship Pain. Del Rio capitalized with the cross arm-breaker for the submission win. Smackdown is 3-0 tonight.

WINNER: Del Rio, at 4:34. Pretty even match, with both guys looking good.

4 – EDGE vs. CM PUNK

Punk still had his right elbow taped. Crowd was firmly behind Edge, chanting his name early on in the match. Side headlock by Edge as the contest began slowly. Punk backed him into the corner, and laid in a few shoulders into the mid-section before the referee could break up the two. Hard whip into the turnbuckle by Punk, and a cover got only one. Edge fought back, but missed his cross-body with Punk draped across the middle rope. That allowed Punk to regain control. Punk hung Edge out to dry over the top rope, but he was hurting in the ring while Edge was writhing in pain outside. They went to break about five minutes in.

Punk had Edge in a body-scissors upon return. Punk went flying, but Edge caught his springboard attempt and turned it into a bodyslam. Both men were down. They traded punches in the middle of the ring, broken up by a few kicks from Punk. He missed a head-shot and the two exchanged counters until Edge came out on top. Suplex attempt, but Punk pushed him away and got him up for a GTS. Edge-O-Match by Edge, but Punk kicked out literally, with a kick to Edge’s head. Grisham called Edge a “future Hall-of-Famer.” That’s probably true. Both men appeared frustrated that they couldn’t get the upper-hand to this point. Running knee in the corner by Punk, but Edge turned the bulldog into an Edgecution DDT for two. Edge climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Punk crotched him. He went up and tried to suplex Edge down, but Punk sent him to the mat. He climbed off the top and set up for the spear. Before he could hit it, The Miz and his flunkey, Alex Riley, came to the ring and pulled Edge out of it. They attacked him on the outside for the DQ.

WINNER: Edge, via DQ, at 13:16.

Kofi came out to attack and threw Riley out of the ring, but Miz gave him the Skull Crushing Finale. Each member of the two teams came out one-by-one and hit one of their pet moves on an opponent, until another person came out from the opposite team and took them out. Mysterio was the last one out, hitting the 619 on Sheamus until Punk came back and attacked him. Edge speared Punk, leaving Smackdown again with the upper-hand. The Smackdown team closed the segment with all of their arms raised in the ring.

5 – LAYCOOL vs. NATALYA & KELLY KELLY

Layla wrestled dressed up as Natalya, and choked the real Natalya in the top rope. McCool kicked Natalya in the face as Striker tried to do a Bret Hart impersonation. She tagged in and did some damage, but when Layla came in, she fell victim to a butterfly suplex from Natalya. Layla went for a neckbreaker but Natalya went for a backslide for two. She tried to hook in the Sharpshooter, but McCool grabbed Layla’s hands to prevent the turn. Eventually, Natalya got it and picked up the submission win.

WINNERS: Natalya and Kelly Kelly, at 2:25. Probably a smart move to keep Kelly on the apron if WWE wanted any semblance of a decent match here.

6 – KANE vs. RANDY ORTON

Surprised there were no interviews leading up to this match, especially to use them as a last-minute opportunity to hype their respective title matches coming up on Sunday. Kane charged out with a few clotheslines in the corner, followed up by a sidewalk slam. He signaled that he was ready to put Orton away early, but Orton squirmed out of the Tombstone and hit his unique back-breaker on Kane. He then set up for the RKO, but Kane fled to ringside. Orton went out and pushed Kane into the ringpost. Orton sent Kane head-first into the announce table, then back into the ring. After a few moments of action, they went back to the outside where this time, Kane took the fight to Orton, slamming his back alternately against the apron and the barricade. Orton was left lying outside the ring as they went to break.

Kane had Orton in a bearhug as the show returned from break. Both men were worn out as if they’d wrestled 15 minutes to this point. Kane kicked at Orton’s gut, but Orton finally reached his feet and fired back with rights. Of course, this was just a tease of a comeback, and Kane gave him a shot to the stomach. Back outside the ring, Orton went spine-first into the ringpost. Another bearhug in the ring, but Orton tried to create separation, and did so with more right hands. He walked right into a back-breaker, though, and Kane got a two-count. Kane landed his clothesline from the top rope for only two. Chokeslam was looming, but Orton elbowed out. He got a boot up on a Kane charge in the corner. He tried to overpower Kane to take him down, but wasn’t successful until he impressively hit a powerslam. He set Kane up for his rope-assisted DDT, and connected. Orton was quite animated, more so than usual, in setting up for the RKO. He was pushed off on an attempt and Kane booted him in the face. As Kane was going to chokeslam Orton, the lights went out. The bell tolled and Orton was behind Kane. When Kane turned around, he fell victim to the RKO. Fin.

WINNER: Orton, at 12:00. I was afraid that, when the lights went out, we’d have another non-finish. Thank goodness I was wrong.

Orton posed with the WWE Title as he went up the ramp. Kane was livid outside the ring. He knocked over the trophy pedestal and tore up the announce table. Crowd was chanting for Undertaker. The bell tolled again, and the lights dimmed. Taker came up from under the ring, breaking through the ring, and trying to drag Kane down with him. He managed to do so, though Kane held on for dear life. From below, Taker grabbed Kane’s head and pulled him down. The lights then went out again and the WWE logo appeared in the corner, signaling the end of the show.

ROH on HDNet Results: 10-25-10

Results courtesy of ProWrestling.net (direct link to Mathieson's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1. The Embassy (Necro Butcher and Erick Stevens) defeated Grizzly Redwood and Andy "Right Leg" Ridge in 6:20. Grizzly got a bit of offense to start the match, but Necro quickly took control and Ridge and Stevens tagged in. Ridge hit a couple kicks (with his right leg, of course).

Necro and Stevens hit a double team wheelbarrow into a punch into a suplex on Ridge. Necro continued to beat on Ridge for a couple minutes, culminating with two chokeslams and a short-arm lariat before tagging in Stevens.

Ridge tried to make the hot tag after a stunner, but Stevens caught him. Eventually Ridge kicked Stevens in the head and tagged in Grizzly, who got two with a huracanrana on Stevens. Redwood went up top, but was caught coming off the ropes by Stevens, who threw him outside into a punch from Necro. Necro threw Grizzly back in the ring and Stevens hit Ghanarhea for the pin.

Joe's Judgment: Fun action from three of the wrestlers involved. Grizzly and Stevens work well together, and Ridge has potential, but I just don't care about the Embassy and the Stevens/Necro team doesn't really work. It's too bad, because as I've said for years, Stevens is talented and could really use some direction.

2. The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able w/Truth Martini) defeated the Super Smash Brothers in 5:30. The HOT dominated the first several minutes, with some nice double teams including Able powerbombing Raymond onto a kneeling Player Dos.

Dos finally hit a double backflip kick and hot tagged Player Uno. The SSB hit an elevated elbow drop, and Dos sent Able to the outside. He went for a skytwister of some sort, but Able moved and Dos hit the outside. Raymond and Able hit the Tower of Truth on Uno and Able covered for the pin.

Joe's Judgment: Lots of fun while it lasted. I'm really high on Raymond and Able, so to see them get a clean pin is nice. This could have gotten a bit more time, but I do want to see more from both these teams, so this match was definitely a success in that respect.

3. The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli w/Shane Hagadorn, Sara Del Rey) defeated the Briscoes to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships in 18:22. Mark slapped Hero within the first minute, and Claudio tagged in and retaliated with a slap of his own. Mark beat Claudio up and sent him to ringside.

The Briscoes continued to mostly control things, and at 3:30 the Kings teased walking away, but eventually returned. First Jay, then Mark hit dives around 6:00. Jay and Claudio traded shots in the center of the ring, Claudio winning with a springboard European uppercut followed by a tag to Hero. Mark tagged in and got two with a crossbody.

Mark went for an exploder at 8:00, but Hero countered and hit an exploder of his own. Mark was kneeling with his head on the second rope and Sara Del Rey punched him, leading to her being ejected by Paul Turner. The Kings continued to dominate Mark. At 12:00, Mark started to make a comeback, but it was thwarted with an elbow/spinebuster combo from the Kings.

Claudio locked in a modified horse collar, but Mark got to the ropes. Hero knocked him to the floor and Claudio hit a suplex on the mat, followed by Hagadorn choking him out. Claudio hit the UFO for a two count, and held Mark for an elbow, but Mark ducked and Hero hit Claudio. Mark hit a suplex and made the tag to Jay.

Jay hit a double crossbody and then the Jaydriller. He covered, but Hero broke up the pin. Mark sent Hero to ringside and then went up top for the Doomsday Device. Hero pulled him off the top rope into a tree of woe, and Hagadorn entered the ring. He went for a piledriver on Jay, but Jay backdropped him and started menacingly toward him. Hagadorn kicked him below the belt and Claudio covered for the pin.

Post match, Mike Briscoe jumped the guardrail and beat on Hagadorn. The Kings tried to stop him, but the Briscoes prevented them from doing anything. Mike grabbed the mic and said that normally he doesn't interfere in his sons' business, but he'd be damned if he let Hagadorn kick his son in the balls.

Joe's Judgment: The match built so well to a finish that never really came. At least after the low blow have Claudio hit the Ricola Bomb or something so that Jay doesn't just lie there and get pinned by one low blow after standing on the apron for ten minutes. Whatever. Can't say I'm all that excited about the prospect of another Kings/Briscoes match, but they've exceeded my expectations twice already, so who knows?

My computer's been down the last couple of weeks so that's why there hasn't been any results. If you need to get caught up with all of last week's results including the WWE Bragging Rights PPV, visit one of my wrestling threads at Neo-Geo or TOKYOPOP (links are below my signature picture)

WWE NXT Results: 11-2-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Only one match took place (which didn't involve the NXT divas), the wedding and the elimination.

1 -- ALICIA FOX vs. KELLY KELLY

Cole and Mathews debated Taylor Swift, who dropped a tune on "Dancing with the Stars" earlier tonight, trying to seem "relevant" on this Internet broadcast. In the ring, Kelly and Alicia exchanged control before Kelly hit a modified Rocker Dropper for the pin and the win. Cole mocked the execution of the move, which wasn't exactly fluid.

WINNER: Kelly in 2:00. It happened.

Final Immunity Standings:
-- Naomi: 3 points
-- A.J.: 2 points
-- Kaitlyn: 2 points
-- Maxine: 1 point
-- Aksana: 0 points

Wedding: Out first for the wedding was Cody Rhodes as Mathews asked who the wedding coordinator is. Cole said "Johnny Ace" is the wedding coordinator. Dusty Rhodes then came out as the father of the groom. Cole said he thinks "Fozzy" is performing at the reception. Hornswoggle then came out as the ring bearer. Cue up Goldust's theme music and the groom entered the ring with possession of the Million Dollar Title belt. Cole said he thought Goldust and Cody hated each other. Mathews told Cole it's not a real wedding. Cole shot back, "You mean this is a fake wedding?" Cole then mocked his P.R. line sarcastically saying WWE is all about family.

After everyone was asked to stand up, Aksana came out sporting a golden wedding dress. Mathews said he hasn't seen a more beautiful bride. Cole said his wife on her wedding day. He added he's trying to score points at home since he hasn't been home in a while. The "presiding minister" dryly and monotonously introduced the wedding before asking Aksana and Goldust to receipt their vows. The audience chimed in with "What?!" chants. Aksana thanked Goldust for saving her. She started a "U-S-A" chant as Cole said this sounds like an Ed Koskie production. Are we getting a Lagana name-drop tonight? The "minister" stumbled over his lines as the announcers said it looks like Al Wilson. The minister said he objects to this wedding. Because everyone has a price.

Out came Ted DiBiase and Maryse to interrupt. DiBiase said this isn't the first time money has destroyed a marriage. Is this Vince writing a promo on Linda's failed $50 campaign? DiBiase then brought out the immigration dude. DiBiase said there is one thing Goldust can do to save this pathetic sham of a wedding. Dusty Rhodes then cut a promo about going to the Pope, then going down to Mississippi to find a real minister. He said he needs him to come make this lovely couple feel good. So, Mr. Minister, come on down, jack. You knew it. Out came "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. DiBiase, Sr. walked by Ted, Jr., who sold shock. Mathews mocked the coincidence of these events occurring.

DiBiase, Sr. entered the ring and shook hands as Ted, Jr. asked why his dad is doing this. Ted, Sr. said the look on his son's face right now is priceless. He asked for the rings and asked Goldust and Aksana to exchange I Dos. DiBiase pronounced them "man and wife" and told Goldust to plant a kiss. Dusty Rhodes suddenly scored a kiss, which drew a look of shock from Goldust. Goldust went for his kiss, but Aksana slapped him and walked off. Aksana acted like a heel strutting out of the ring after conning poor Goldust into marriage. Cole said Goldust will have to go back on the Internet tonight.

Maxine was eliminated from NXT.

WWE Superstars Results: 11-4-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- JACK SWAGGER (w/Mascot) vs. KAVAL

Swagger dominated early on as Grisham noted Swagger being a former World Hvt. champion. Kaval popped Swagger in the chest with a kick, then Swagger sent Kaval to the outside. Kaval played cat and mouse to set up Swagger for a kick to the shoulder before flying off the top rope with a splash on the floor. Back in the ring, Kaval landed kick strikes and scored a nearfall. Kaval tried to ground Swagger, who came back with a knee to the gut followed by a knee to the back that sent Kaval flying off the apron into the guardrail. The mascot was very pleased with this.

Back in the ring, Swagger settled into a modified Rings of Saturn before Kaval fought to his feet. Swagger cut him right off and knocked Kaval to the outside. Swagger then paraded around the ring while the eagle flapped its wings ringside. Once again back in the ring, Swagger dominated the action some more before nailing the big running Vader Bomb for a two count. Grisham then sent the action to a break with Swagger still in control.

Swagger was still dominating back from break. Kaval then came back with a handspring double foot kick knocking Swagger to the outside. Swagger ran back into the ring, but took multiple kick strikes anyways. Kaval then called for the end and landed a running kick strike to the mid-section for a nearfall. Kaval tried to follow with a springboard smash, but Swagger ducked and followed with an overhead belly-to-back suplex for a two count. They went back and forth trading nearfalls as Striker dramatically built up to a description of Kaval as...exciting.

Kaval tried the Warrior's Way from the top rope, but Swagger moved. The eagle then got involved by grabbing Kaval's foot from the floor as the ref was preoccupied with Swagger. Swagger followed right up with the Anklelock and Kaval was forced to tap out, giving Swagger the win. The mascot hopped right into the ring and celebrated with mascot-like mannerisms while Swagger got his shine.

WINNER: Swagger via submission in 12:00. Good match. It felt like they were holding back a bit, but easily one of the better Superstars matches in a while breaking the mold of the generic WWE style. (**1/4)

2 -- LUKE GALLOWS vs. VANCE ARCHER

Striker did a gravely Vince McMahon voice saying he likes to see two big heavyweights just slug it out in the ring. Archer, as the heel, took control here. Grisham said Gallows has had a "lifestyle change" since leaving C.M. Punk's SES. Archer continued to dominate before playing to the crowd. He took too long going up top, allowing Gallows to drop him off the turnbuckles to the mat.

Gallows made a comeback with successive clothesline before dropping the straps. Gallows looked like Gillberg with his eyes popping out of his head before he ran around Archer in circles and landed a flying splash for a two count. Striker noted an apathetic crowd reaction. Gallows then followed with the Gallows Pole for the pin and the win. To conclude the segment, Gallows smiled for the crowd to indicate he's a babyface.

WINNER: Gallows in 4:00. Just weird. The crowd was about as indifferent as indifferent gets. It would help if WWE actually reintroduced Gallows's character, but it looks like they're not ready to invest that much time into his new babyface persona. (*)

3 -- GAIL KIM vs. ALICIA FOX

Typical start with Alicia taking control with heel tactics. Gail then came off the top with a splash for a two count before Alicia regained control and cut off Gail's attempted comebacks. Alicia tried to take a powder when Gail teased a stronger comeback, but Gail dragged her back into the ring. Gail then hit the Eat Defeat jawbreaker for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Gail in 3:00. Good showcase for Gail, who hasn't been featured at all recently. Gail and Alicia have nice chemistry in the ring and could add something to Raw once in a while. (*)

4 -- MARK HENRY vs. USOS (JIMMY & JEY w/Tamina)

Jimmy was ready to start things off, but Henry wanted a piece of Jey, who kicked Henry in the face last week. Jey found himself in trouble until Jimmy blind-tagged into the match and took out Henry at the knees from behind to take control of the match. That was only momentary, as Henry made a comeback with successive clotheslines. He followed with a big splash attempt, but Jimmy rolled out of the way. Tamina then tagged Henry in the face with a kick from the outside as the ref was distracted. Jey then tagged in and landed a Superfly splash. He made a cover and that was good for a three count.

WINNER: Usos in 4:00. Fine showcase for the Usos. Cheating was the only realistic way for the Usos to win the match and it kept the program going. Just the visual of one of the Usos pinning Henry was beneficial for their progression as a serious act. (*)

TNA Impact! Results: 11-4-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Keller's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- SARITA vs. VELVET SKY

Tenay announced that RVD vs. Styles vs. Rhino had just been booked for the TV main event. Sky threw some weak-looking chops at Sarita in the corner. Sarita blocked a DDT attempt and then clotheslined a frustrated Sky. She went into sustained offense and a near fall. Sky fired back with more weak chops. Sarita punched her in response. Sky escaped an underhook powerbomb attempt and threw more weak chops. She followed with a running bulldog type move and a clothesline. Sarita went for a counter, but Sky leveraged herself into landing on Sarita for a two count. Sarita finally executed the double underhook powerbomb for the win.

WINNER: Sarita in 3:00.

2 -- MAX BUCK & JEREMY BUCK (Generation Me) & TARA vs. SHANNON MOORE & JESSE NEAL (Ink Inc.) & MICKIE JAMES

Taz said Generation Me remind him a lot of himself when he wrestled. Tenay said there is absolutely nothing they do that he did. Taz said he was like Generation Me when he was their age in terms of being self-centered. Tara rode to ringside on a motorcycle. Tara kicked Neal at ringside at 3:00. Taz wondered about the mic dropping backstage. Tenay said it was a technical malfunction, "and believe me, it wouldn't be the first time," he added. Tara broek up a Moore pin on Max. Mickie dove onto Tara. Mickie then kicked Max in the head. Neal then picked up Max at which point Moore leaped off the top rope with a neckbreaker for the win. Afterward GenMe and Tara jumped Ink Inc. and Tara.

WINNERS: Ink Inc. & Mickie at 5:00.

STAR RATING: *1/4

3 -- A.J. STYLES vs. RHINO vs. ROB VAN DAM -- TNA World TV Title Match

Tenay reiterated that Bischoff booked this match-up. The referee held the TV Title belt in the air before the match. Styles got in RVD's face. RVD shoved him right into Rhino, who tossed Styles to the floor. RVD and Rhino exchanged a few words, at which point Rhino jumped to ringside and went after Styles. Styles reverse-whipped Rhino into the stairs, then returned to the ring and took on RVD. When Rhino returned to the ring, Styles side-stepped a Rhino attempt at a Gore. RVD recovered and surprised Styles with a jump reverse sidekick to the chest. As RVD and Rhino argued again, Styles dove onto both of them and then rolled up RVD for the win to retain his title. Tenay said Bischoff wins in two ways: Styles retained the title while the RVD-Rhino tension increased.

WINNER: Styles in 5:00.

STAR RATING: *1/2

-Afterward Sabu, Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer, and Raven walked out to try to separate RVD and Rhino. RVD shoved Raven. Dreamer grabbed a mic and called for a truce. He asked RVD what's wrong in his head. He complained he won't call him back. RVD asked why he should trust him like he trusted Jeff. RVD said he's wondering who's going to attack him next. He asked why Dreamer is so defensive and asked what he's hiding. Dreamer said they're just playing into Bischoff's master plan. He suggested they "go old school" at Turning Point. By "old school," he means a match where he can use short-cut weapons to cover up for his lack of confidence he can have a full-fledged watchable match without apparatus involved?

4 -- KAZ vs. DOUGLAS WILLIAMS

Flair came out first and held up his fingers, then joined Taz and Tenay on commentary. Taz called it a real honor. Beer Money walked out to ringside to watch as the match began. Flair said, "The Cowboys are out!" Taz joked, "Better than the ones in Dallas." Flair said Keith Mitchell might be upset, but what's he going to do about it? Taz quipped: "Lose." Williams out-wrestled Kaz in the first two minutes. Flair said Morgan had a chance to be part of the big time, but he bailed out on them too soon to achieve that. In the end, Kaz reverse-whipped Williams into Storm standing on the ring apron, then rolled him up for the win.

WINNER: Kaz in 4:00.

-Williams shoved Kaz in frustration afterward. Beer Money got between them. Flair joined them and offered a handshake to Williams. Williams tentatively accepted, then grabbed Kaz's hand while pointing at his face with the other. Flair tried to talk them into signing a sincere handshake. They briefly shook hands, then everyone stacked their hands in mid-ring.

5 -- ABYSS vs. THE POPE

Pope went on the attack, but Abyss dropped him with a big boot and then worked over his taped ribs with a splash in the corner. When Abyss beat on Pope at ringside, Abyss got distracted by a fan yelling at him. The camera operator gave away the angle by swaying the camera to a fan seconds before Abyss turned to him. Abyss pie-faced one fan and yanked the other fan over the railing and punched him. Abyss yanked two more fans over the railing. He tore the shirt off of one fan before Al Snow, D-Lo, and others intervened. Pope entered the ring and challenged him to a Lumberjack Match at Turning Point. Pope said, "Since you've got hard-on for Pope's congregation," he wanted the fans to be his lumberjacks. Abyss said, "You're on!"

WINNER: No contest in 2:00.

WWE Smackdown Results: 11-5-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Park's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 – EDGE vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO

Edge stared down and advanced on Del Rio’s ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, when Rodriguez got into the ring. A little left-over heat from last week. Once the bell rang, the fight immediately went to the outside of the ring. Edge had the advantage and kept things slow in the center of the ring. Edge went hard into the corner, then Edge was sent shoulder-first into the ring post. He ended up back on the outside, where this time, Del Rio was the aggressor. They went to break over 2:00 into the match.

Back with Del Rio holding Edge down in a top wrist-lock. Sunset flip by Edge for two. Del Rio used a unique maneuver to jam Edge’s arm into his knees. Del Rio sent Edge to ringside and rammed Edge’s arm into the barricade. He threw Edge into the ring, rolled over him, and got a two-count. Another arm-hold in the ring, and Edge was able to fight back. He put his head down though, and Del Rio caught him with a boot. However, he flew between the top and middle rope when Edge moved out of the way. Angrily, Del Rio hopped up to the apron, but Edge dropkicked him back down. This time, Edge came out to help him back in. He tried to go to the top, but Del Rio put a stop to that. Edge got the upper hand and headbutted Del Rio to the mat. Cross-body off the top caught Del Rio for a very near-fall. Flying forearm by Edge, then another. He got another close call on a pin. German suplex with a bridge by Del Rio for two. Big DDT by Edge for two, as they continued to go back-and-forth. Edge to the top again, but Del Rio climbed up and gave him a nice enziguiri. He’s a pro at that move already. Edge got his limb on the rope to break up the pin. Del Rio ran into a big boot and the fans could sense he was ready for a spear. As he set up, Nexus’s music hit, and they (sans Wade Barrett) charged the ring. They surrounded the ring, then attacked both men. No bell, but I’m sure it was a no contest.

WINNER: No Contest, at about 13:09 (no bell). A bit slow, but technically fine.

After Edge and Del Rio were quickly dispatched, David Otunga got the mic and said they were taking over. Big Show then walked out. He signaled someone else, and Rey Mysterio came out as well. Kane was next, which is an odd selection given his current main-event heel status. The three of them, along with Edge and Del Rio, got rid of Nexus in short order. Del Rio stayed on the apron, I think.

2 – DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. JTG

Ziggler cornered JTG immediately, as Striker said Vickie Guerrero better hope we don’t bring back Prohibition, or she’ll never get a date. JTG charged into the corner, but Ziggler got a boot up. Neck-breaker from Ziggler, and he got a two-count from it. JTG tried to fight back, and got back to his feet, then dropkicked Ziggler. Zig Zag by Ziggler…but he pulled JTG’s head up before getting a three-count. He then applied the sleeper hold, and referee Justin King called for the bell.

WINNER: Ziggler, at 2:17. Good win for Ziggler after a few highly-publicized losses to Daniel Bryan.

Kaitlyn ran to the ring after the match, presumably to congratulate Ziggler, but an even angrier-than-usual Guerrero came out with a mic. She asked Kaitlyn who she thinks she is, then slapped her hard, sending Kaitlyn to the ground. The ref had to restrain Vickie as Ziggler was visibly angry at what was taking place.

3 – MVP vs. “DASHING” CODY RHODES vs. DREW MCINTYRE – MATCH TO DETERMINE THE #1 CONTNEDER FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE

MVP came out to new music. Five seconds into the match, Striker declared, “MVP looking good so far.” He did have McIntyre and Rhodes on their heels. Speaking of heels, the two in the match tried to work together a week after breaking up, in order to take out MVP. They seemed to form an alliance in taking MVP down. The winner here faces Ziggler for the belt next week. McIntyre turned first, back-dropping Rhodes out of the ring. He then slammed Rhodes on the steel ramp. Then, they went to break.

McIntyre was in control of MVP out of break, as they showed Rhodes continuing to convalesce on the outside. Rhodes snuck back into the ring to sneak attack MVP. Rhodes had MVP in a unique chin-lock on the mat. MVP got to his feet and gave Rhodes an electric chair. Mac got onto the apron, but Rhodes knocked him back down. Jackknife cover only got two. Ugly neck-breaker by Rhodes as MVP was between the middle and top rope. Rhodes attacked McIntyre on the outside, but took his time going to the top rope. Looked like he was going to jump onto McIntyre, but he ended up getting crotched. McIntyre had a look of evil intentions as he approached Rhodes. McIntyre suplexed Rhodes off the top, with an assist from MVP. MVP was the first to his feet, and he destroyed the former tag champs. It ended up being MVP and McIntyre in the ring. MVP hit the “ballin’” elbowdrop, then set up for his finisher. McIntyre countered and clotheslined MVP down. Mac went for his patented DDT, but Rhodes came off the ropes with a kick to the face. MVP threw Rhodes out of the ring and hit the drive-by kick on McIntyre. That got him the win.

WINNER: MVP, at 13:21. Pretty good three-way. Hopefully, this is going to start the rebuilding of MVP’s credibility.

4 – VICKIE GUERRERO vs. KAITLYN

Forearms by Kaitlyn to Vickie, and Vickie climbed to ringside and screamed as Cole and Striker checked on her. Cole pointed his finger at Kaitlyn and called her a “wench.” Vickie tried to do some warm-ups on the outside, but Kaitlyn jumped off the apron and onto Vickie. She sent Guerrero back into the ring. Stomp to the gut with Guerrero on the mat. Guerrero backed into the corner and looked like she was going to vomit. Instead, Kaitlyn bounced Vickie’s head off the buckle. Legdrop by Kaitlyn after she got Vickie out of the corner and went for a pin. With both on their knees. Vickie slapped Kaitlyn. She tried to slam Kaitlyn, but the rookie Diva fell on her pro and got a two-count. Vickie again went into the corner and Kaitlyn put a few shoulders into Vickie’s mid-section, of which Vickie didn’t sell. Kaitlyn got tripped up by Vickie, who rolled Kaitlyn up for the win (putting her feet on the ropes for extra leverage).

WINNER: Guerrero, at 3:08. About three minutes too long. Nothing after the match, either?

5 – CHRIS MASTERS vs. TYLER REKS

Short clothesline by Reks missed and Masters fired back with chops. He tossed Reks over the top rope. Grisham said this was a rematch from last week’s WWE Superstars show. On the apron, Reks whipped Masters into the steel ringpost. Masters fought out of a hold, and hit an inverted atomic drop. More chops, then a shoulder tackle. Whip into the buckle by Masters, then a corner splash. Big spinebuster for only two. He attempted to lock in the Masterlock, but Reks got out. He then landed his burning hammer finisher (as called by Striker) for the win.

WINNER: Reks, at 3:58. Masters got quite a bit of offense here, despite Grisham saying Reks “dominated.” I thought they’d give him a more dominating win.

6 – NEXUS vs. EDGE & KOFI KINGSTON & ALBERTO DEL RIO & THE BIG SHOW & KANE

Ironically, Kingston and McGillicutty started the match off, as the two were pro and rookie on NXT season two. Show tagged in soon after and chopped McGillicutty, then slammed him, all the while threatening to slap the red out of Heath Slater. McGillicutty was kept in the babyface corner, and Edge tagged in to do some damage. McGillicutty finally got a leg up on Edge, enough to tag in Justin Gabriel. He didn’t get much time to shine, as Edge put him down for a two-count. Husky Harris tagged in and pounded away on Edge with some awkward rights and lefts. Either he’s gotten fatter, or the tights are not doing him any favors. Running forearm from Harris for a two-count. Tag in to Slater, and he kept up the onslaught. Slater ended up getting pancaked by Edge, and both men were down. Show was able to make the tag in did some double-teaming with Kingston. Slater escaped before Kingston could do all the damage he had planned. All of a sudden, Del Rio was shown walking up the ramp, holding his head. Not sure what that was about, but they went to break.

Nexus was in control, thanks to Slater, out of break. Del Rio was gone and Kingston went to the top. High cross-body for two by Kofi. Kingston was distracted by Gabriel and McGillicutty, but he still managed to back-drop Slater out of the ring. Kingston flew over the top and onto four of the five Nexus members. Otunga was the exception. He provided another distraction, and Slater knocked Kingston off the apron and into the announce desk. Otunga finally tagged in and put the boots to Kingston in the corner. More tags from the Nexus crew, keeping the legal man fresh against Kingston. After several minutes, Gabriel and Kingston were both down. Kingston went to tag Edge, but Kane reached in and tagged himself in. He met Otunga in the ring, and knocked a few other Nexus guys off the apron. Clothesline off the top onto Otunga, as Kane then set for the chokeslam. He locked it in but the rest of Nexus interfered. Big Show took two of them out of the ring, but Kane then chokeslammed Show. Striker said Kane must’ve thought Show attacked him from behind. Edge tagged himself in and gave the Edge-O-Matic to Otunga. He went for a spear, but ran into a choke from Kane. Edge got out, and speared his partner, then Otunga.

WINNERS: Edge, Show, Kingston, Del Rio and Kane at 18:42.

They replayed a couple big moments at the end of the match. Kane was shown staggering up the ramp to end things.

TNA Turning Point PPV Results: 11-7-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's ongoing report).

1 -- X Division champion JAY LETHAL vs. ROBBIE E. (w/Cookie) -- X Division Title match

The first five minutes featured Lethal controlling the action before Robbie cheated to take advantage. The camera seemed to be more focused on Cookie than the in-ring action at times during this period. Robbie cut off a comeback at 6:00 before Lethal put together a series of moves and showed babyface fire. Lethal clenched his fist and went for a sunset flip for the pin. However, the referee was also more focused on Cookie and randomly started yelling at Cookie while Lethal had a visual three count on the sunset flip. Lethal followed with a suicide dive on the floor as Taz lamented Robbie being in trouble here.

Back in the ring at 10:00, Cookie got on the ring apron to distract Lethal, who threw her hairspray away. Robbie tried to surprise Lethal, but Lethal hit the Lethal Combination center ring. Lethal then went up top, but Cookie grabbed Lethal's leg while ref Hebner took his sweet time to get the hairpsray out of the ring. Robbie then hit a neckbreaker on Lethal and scored the pin for the win.

WINNER: Robbie E. at 10:42 to capture the X Division Title. Your classic over-booked TNA match with the return of referee incompetence. It sure seemed weird to have Hebner as the ref in the opening match, but it became apparent he was needed for the referee incompetence portion of the match storyline. (*)

2 -- MICKIE JAMES vs. TARA

Tara came out first on her bike and waited for "hardcore country" Mickie to come out. Mickie stormed the ring and slapped Tara across the face to jumpstart the match. Mickie was curiously going with the Shawn Michaels style chaps here. Mickie landed an early clothesline and Tara rolled to the outside looking for a break. Tara then caught Mickie in cat-and-mouse to take control of the action. Tara continued to heel on Mickie, who then came back with a top-rope dropkick. Tara ducked Mickie's finisher, though, and stomped her down to the mat.

The action moved up top and both ladies crashed down to the floor below. They didn't make it back into the ring, as the fight went down the walkway and over the guardrail to the stage area. Mickie and Tara traded bombs near the fans and the ref eventually threw out the match. The brawl continued over the guardrail back to ringside, then back to the stage area. Mickie turned her back on Tara momentarily and took a broom shot across the back. Tara turned her back and started to celebrate, leading to Mickie cracking her with a trashcan. Security eventually intervened to settle things down. Well, at least try.

Mickie eventually ran back into the ring and called out to Tara, who sprinted from the stage into the ring to continue the brawl. Hair and clothes started flying as the intense brawl continued until agents finally hit the ring to break things up. Have to make sure the agents get their camera time. Mickie eventually broke free and tackled Tara in the corner. They brawled some more until Tara rolled out of the ring to conclude the segment.

WINNER: No Contest at 8:17. That was really intense and well done selling the feud. That's the type of action that could lead to a headline match on PPV or a well-hyped TV main event. The match itself was physical, crash-and-burn action. It wasn't pretty, but it looked like a fight at times, which you want in a simulated competition. (**)

3 -- TNA tag champs MOTOR CITY MACHINEGUNS (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. TEAM 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) -- TNA Tag Title match vs. Team 3D's careers

Before the opening bell, ref Brian Hebner gave Team 3D a look at the tag titles to build anticipation for what's to come here. Shelley and Devon started things off with a handshake as Tenay referenced the promotions for which Team 3D have held tag titles. Shelley and Devon had a stand-off before re-circling the ring. Devon used his size to gain momentary control, but Shelley used his quickness to duck rapid-fire clothesline attempts. The Guns suddenly tried their Skull & Bones finisher, but Devon moved and tagged in Ray, who sent the Guns scampering to the outside.

The action reset in the ring with Ray taking right hand blows from Sabin, who then hit a springboard cross-body block for a two count. Ray then smacked Sabin down and tagged in Devon, who avoided a top rope move and re-tagged in Ray. Shelley sold a knee injury, so Ray went to work on the knee and ligament. The action moved to the outside where Ray smacked Sabin down to the padding. He tried a splash against the ringpost, but Sabin moved and Ray ate the post. Ray came up bleeding from the forehead and the Guns went to work on Ray back in the ring.

The Guns showed a lot of intensity as Ray tried to fire back with slaps to the chest. Shelley absorbed the chops before attempting a top rope move, only to walk into a mid-air Ace Crusher. Ray then made a hot tag to Devon as Sabin tagged in as well. Devon landed a flying shoulder tackle before hitting a sidewalk slam for a two count. The Guns then tried double-team offense in the corner, but Devon countered with a front slam throwing Sabin onto Shelley's back. Devon then went up top and landed a flying headbutt, but Shelley broke up a pin attempt. Ray then blind-tagged into the match and 3D hit a double-team hangman's neckbreaker for a two count.

At 13:00, Team 3D set up the "What's Up?" diving headbutt and it connected to Shelley's crotch. Naturally, a table was out next to the crowd's approval. 3D set up a table in the corner, but Sabin did a running flip off the table and onto his feet. Ray then went crashing through the table and the Guns immediately hit a double superkick combo on Devon for a close two count. The Guns followed with their Skull & Bones finisher, but Devon kicked out just in time. Shelley did his cocky smirk, then Devon countered a double-team attempt and the Guns accidentally kicked each other.

Team 3D followed up with the 3D on Sabin for the apparent three count, but Sabin kicked out just before three. 3D and the announcers sold shock. Team 3D didn't know what to do next. At 16:30, Devon tagged in Ray, who wanted a second 3D, but Sabin countered with a DDT on Devon. The Guns then followed with a superkick into the Skull & Bones on Ray. Sabin made a cover and that was good for a three count to give the Guns the win.

Post-match: Ray continued to sell the finish by laying spread eagle on the mat. The Guns eventually took back their title belts and picked up Brother Ray to help him to his feet. All four did a curtain call before Ray fell back down to the mat at Devon's knees to continue selling the finish. Ray and Sabin hugged it out in the ring to conclude the match.

WINNERS: Guns at 17:08 to retain the TNA Tag Titles. Excellent, excellent tag match. Great story that was laid out nicely and allowed the Guns to get a star-confirming victory in the sense that they looked tough opposite a bigger, more physical team while scoring a legitimatizing victory for the finish. Can we go ahead and give Tag Team of the Year to the Guns? (****)

4 -- TOMMY DREAMER vs. ROB VAN DAM

Dreamer and RVD had a stare down after a brief opening exchange. RVD talked trash, then both men started trading bombs. Dreamer anticipated RVD's next move and blocked with a clothesline. Dreamer continued to dominate on the floor until RVD landed a martial arts kick to the face and crotched Dreamer on the guardrail. RVD followed with a spin kick to the head as Taz talked about "mind control" on the part of Bischoff, etc. getting inside RVD's head.

Dreamer made a comeback and retrieved a ladder from under the ring. Dreamer also retrieved a second chair and tossed it into the ring. The match slowed to a crawl for a bit until Dreamer ducked a baseball slide and smashed the ladder into RVD's face. Back in the ring, the action slowed to a crawl again. RVD then missed with Rolling Thunder and crashed into the ladder. Dreamer inexplicably went up top and landed a highly unathletic frog splash for a two count. Dreamer removed his MMA glove to check on his wrist as RVD came back with a Northern Lights suplex for a two count.

They cut to a close-up of Dreamer selling that he broke his hand as RVD checked on his "EV2 brother." RVD made a cover, but Dreamer kicked out. RVD sold that he didn't know what to do as Dreamer asked for the match to continue. RVD then slammed Dreamer onto a chair and went top for Split-legged Moonsault, but Dreamer moved and RVD ate the chair. RVD came back, then went up top and airballed a Five-Star Frogsplash. Dreamer followed with a one-hand piledriver and rolled RVD over for a pin resulting in a two count.

At 13:30, the match continued. They did some spot in the corner with a ladder and RVD sent Dreamer into the rungs of the ladder as if he were sitting on a swing. RVD followed with a dropkick whipping Dreamer neck-first onto the mat. RVD followed with a Surfboard using the chair into Dreamer's head. RVD didn't make a cover as the announcers begged for this to end. RVD went for the Five-Star again and Dreamer moved again. Dreamer then tried a DVD, but RVD whipped him off into the ladder. The crowd was dead quiet here as they continued to block each other's offense. RVD went up top and hit the Five-Star on the third try for the pin and the win.

Post-match: RVD told Dreamer that he's sorry as he helped him to his feet. They hugged it out as Dreamer did a sad face while selling the injured hand. Tenay said it solved the issue that Bischoff has been fueling his paranoia.

WINNER: RVD at 15:53. This was a match that just would not end, as this went about ten minutes too long. Dreamer, like Mick Foley, just doesn't belong in a nationally televised PPV singles match at this stage of his career and RVD seemed to be going through the motions. (1/4*)

5 -- EV2 vs. FORTUNE -- Winning team selects a member of the other team to be "fired"

Kendrick wrestled in his big white coat before tripping over himself as Doug Williams took his knee out. Richards then knocked Williams to the outside and Roode tried to make a cover on Richards while Hebner was distracted. Trainers eventually came to ringside to check on Kendrick while James Storm randomly hopped off the ring apron to help him out. Breaking kayfabe or swerve? Back in the ring, Fortune took control of the match once the action settled into a standard tag match. Kazarian then mocked Stevie's superkick and Stevie countered with Kaz's old Wave of the Future finisher. Rhino then hot-tagged into the match and blasted Beer Money with offense. Rhino wanted the Gore, but Roode yanked Rhino down and Styles hit a springboard clothesline for a close two count.

Fortune regained control of the action as Raven, wearing a bright red Dr. Seuss t-shirt, interrupted several times to break up the action. Rhino eventually broke free and tagged in Sabu, who landed right hand blows on numerous men. Surprise, a chair was introduced into the match. Sabu went flying off the chair into a springboard dive onto Fortune members ringside. Back in the ring, Styles missed with a springboard 450 splash and Sabu followed with a DDT for a two count. Suddenly, a series of finishers were executed by both teams. Rhino blasted Roode with a Gore that sent Roode back-of-the-neck-first into the bottom rope. Sabu then tried a top rope huracanrana on Styles, but Styles countered with the Styles Clash for the pin and the win. Sabu is gone, according to the announcers.

WINNERS: Fortune at 12:05 to "fire" Sabu. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this EV2 season and everyone can move on. TNA has too many solid, under-utilized wrestlers on the roster to continue devoting TV and PPV time to the EV2 group. (*)

Post-match: Fortune celebrated on the entrance ramp as the other EV2 members tried to console Sabu in the ring. Ric Flair joined Fortune on the stage, coughed, and said they should pay homage to Fortune. Flair asked everyone to bow down to Fortune. They all thank God for Fortune. Cough. Flair then told Sabu that he's out of here. He said he hates Sheik, never liked Sheik, and wants Sabu gone. Sabu sold flipping out and stormed Flair, but Rhino held him back. Fortune said the other three of them will be gone eventually. RVD and Dreamer then walked into the ring to talk it out with Sabu as Flair told them to have their ***-kissing session.

Dreamer took the mic as Rhino leaned against the top rope selling disgust. RVD said this sucks, man. He told Sabu he did great here and TNA saying good-bye to Sabu is proof that what RVD wants he doesn't always get. Dreamer did his little speech saying Sabu deserved to be a multi-millionaire based on the punishment he put his body through. The hits keep on coming. He thanked Sabu and they hugged it out.

6 -- THE POPE D'ANGELO DINERO vs. ABYSS -- Lumberjack match

Abyss, the man who has almost killed everyone on the roster and held the babyface president hostage, was positioned as the sympathetic figure here with Pope having the deck stacked in his favor. Pope dropkicked Abyss to the outside early on and the Congregation chased Abyss back into the ring. Abyss then tossed Pope over the top rope and the Congregation helped him back into the ring. Pope then hit a flying clothesline for a two count. A second one knocked Abyss to the outside and the lumberjacks roughed up Abyss before returning him to the ring.

In the ring, Abyss began working on Pope's injured ribs after removing the tape around the mid-section. Abyss tried to hit the Black Hole Slam, but Pope rolled over Abyss's shoulders into a float-over DDT. Both men recovered on the mat, then Pope landed some tired forearm smashes. Abyss then tried the Shock Treatment, teased it, and connected center ring. Abyss needed some extra time to make a cover and only scored a nearfall. Abyss found himself on the outside again and Pope landed a big splash from the top rope. The Congregation then shoved Abyss back into the ring before the Congregation checked on Pope. Pope slowly went up top and landed a headbutt that looked like it hurt both men. Why is anyone still doing a top rope diving headbutt in 2010?

At 11:00, Pope landed multiple elbow strikes to the head followed by slaps and punches. Pope then went to ringside and started slapping hands with the Congregation ringside. They seemed to be waiting for something, then Eric Bischoff showed up on the stage. Swerve time. Bischoff did a money hand signal and the Congregation jumped Pope from behind to no heat. Pro wrestling logic check: what happened if Pope won the match within the previous ten minutes? Anyways, the congregation rolled Pope back into the ring and Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam for the win.

WINNER: Abyss at 13:02. Another slow-moving match where the crowd wasn't buying any nearfalls while waiting for the expected storyline-driven finish. The audience knows you can't have a TNA PPV without a swerve and/or a backstabbing. (*1/2)

7 -- SAMOA JOE vs. JEFF JARRETT

Taz defended Jarrett "buying in" to Bischoff and Hogan while Tenay called it hypocritical on Jarrett's part. Tenay talked in cryptic terms about Jarrett asking the people in TNA to work together for the good of the company (e.g. TNA management asking talent to take a pay cut) before he turned on the roster. Joe showed off his trademark physicality early on before staring down Jarrett and stalking his prey. Joe landed a kick strike, a head butt, right hands to the chest, and a knee below the chin, but gave Jarrett an opening to land shoulder blocks in the corner. Jarrett tried a slap, but Joe no-sold and ripped flesh off Jarrett's chest. "Holy crap," Tenay said. Taz dryly said, "Just tap out." Joe then got a second wind and cracked Jarrett over and over again with slaps. Jarrett suddenly recovered and applied an anklelock, which the announcers noted as a message to Kurt Angle.

The camera zoomed in on Jarrett's bright red chest as he tried to retrieve a chair on the outside. The ref disallowed this chair use, then Jarrett re-entered the ring and landed a dropkick, but Joe popped up to his feet, no-sold, and smashed Jarrett with a clothesline for a two count. Joe tried a move from the fireman's carry position, but Jarrett countered into the Stroke. Joe kicked out easily, though. Joe then came back with an exploder suplex, which popped Taz. In the corner, Joe wanted a superplex, but Jarrett blocked and slingshot Joe across the top rope. Jarrett then followed with a Stroke from the top rope and Joe kicked out again.

At 8:00, Jarrett went back to the outside and retrieved the chair again. The ref reprimanded him again. Meanwhile, Joe regrouped in the ring and landed an elbow suicide dive taking out Jarrett and the ref. Back in the ring, Joe took Jarrett up top and called for the Musclebuster. TNA security then hit the ring and Joe knocked them around, including a Musclebuster on Shatter. Joe preoccupied himself with the other security allowing Jarrett to hit Joe with a plastic Bossman stick. Jarrett then choked out Joe with the stick as the crowd called for Kurt Angle. To no heat, Jarrett applied a regular rear naked choke. Security threw the ref back into the ring and he dropped Joe's hand three times, giving Jarrett the win.

WINNER: Jarrett via KO at 10:32. As expected for a Jarrett match, more TNA over-booking. It felt like a throwback to five or six years ago with Jarrett's NWA Title defenses on PPV. Early on, Jarrett was great heel foil for Joe, who was able to showcase his physical offense again in a premiere singles match. (**)

8 -- TNA World Hvt. champion JEFF HARDY vs. MATT MORGAN -- TNA World Title match

The fans chanted for Morgan, who quickly knocked down Hardy in the opening sequence. Hardy rolled to the floor to recover, then slowly re-entered the ring to lock up again. Hardy landed a boot to the gut and aggressive forearm strikes, but tried to run over Morgan, who just looked down at the mat to no-sell Hardy's attempt. Hardy then went for the left knee and tried to chop down the tree, but Morgan flung Hardy over the top rope with a one-hand chokeslam. Hardy teased re-entering the ring, but spit in Morgan's face. Morgan gave chase and nearly walked into the trap, but avoided an elbow drop and dragged Hardy to the floor. The announcers focused on Morgan needing to keep his poise in a big title match here.

Back in the ring, Morgan slammed Hardy and tried a big leg drop, but Hardy moved and went to work on Morgan's left knee. Hardy went for a unique submission tilting Morgan's big left leg straight up into the air before transitioning into a single-leg Boston Crab. Very nice offense from Hardy. Morgan teased tapping out, but eventually made the bottom rope for a break. Hardy then shoved ref JJ before going back on the attack focusing on the knee. Hardy mocked his own babyface dance before going back to work.

At 8:00, Morgan came back to his feet and ripped off Hardy's t-shirt. Morgan pounded his chest, sold the left knee, and landed a big discus clothesline for a close two count. Morgan slapped his left knee trying to shake off the offensive attack before picking up Hardy, who came back with a jumping DDT for a nearfall. Hardy went to the second rope and flipped off the fans before flying into Morgan's hand for a big chokeslam that resulted in a two count. Morgan then slowly lifted up Hardy, who pulled the ref in tight and mule kicked Morgan. Hardy then hit the Twist of Hate center ring, but Morgan kicked out at two.

At 11:00, Hardy began pounding on Morgan, who suddenly came back with the Carbon Footprint out of nowhere. Morgan had a three count and Hardy's foot was apparently supposed to kick the ref in the head, but he was too far away. So, an awkward moment ensued where Morgan seemed to win the match. Anyways, Morgan slowly brought Hardy back up to his feet and hit a second Twist of Hate, but Morgan kicked out again. Hardy had a word with the ref, then missed with a corner splash. Morgan landed an elbow strike, hobbled on the knee, then took Hardy up top, but Hardy blocked and hit the Whisper in the Wind off the top. Hardy wanted a third Twist of Hate and hit it. This was good for the three count and the win.

Post-match: They went to a replay of the high points from the match, including the awkward non-finish when Morgan had a three count, which seemed to hint at a potential re-match. Afterward, Fortune and Immortals hit the ring with champagne to celebrate with Hardy. Confetti fell from the ceiling as Hardy stood tall in the corner with possession of the title. They showed Bischoff mugging for the camera as Taz said he's as happy as a pig in poop. Flair then chugged an adult beverage as Hardy whoo'ed for the crowd. Immortal and Fortune continued to celebrate in the ring as Tenay signed off six minutes before the top of the hour.

WINNER: Hardy at 13:06 to retain the TNA World Title. Good main event, although the finish never seemed to be in doubt with it being Hardy's first title defense and no pre-PPV chase or quest for Morgan. The non-finish for Morgan didn't look smooth, but it gave Morgan an "out" for a future re-match if they're going that route. Overall, Hardy was solid in his first title defense and Morgan carried himself well as a strong, yet somewhat sympathetic babyface. If TNA gets Morgan and Joe together as a tag team to lead the anti-Immortals babyface faction going forward, that could make for some good TV on Impact. (***)

WWE RAW Results: 11-8-10

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- ALICIA FOX & MARYSE & TAMINA vs. BELLA TWINS & EVE -- Divas Cup

After a few minutes of basic back-and-forth and the announcers continuing to mock soccer, the Bellas pulled the switcheroo to score the pin and the win. Afterward, the babyface Divas bounced around in their soccer outfits to celebrate the win for Man U.

WINNERS: Bellas & Eve in 3:00. Odd to place Maryse in this slot, but they apparently only brought a limited number of Raw Divas on the European Tour, and this match was booked on all of the Raw house shows over the weekend.

2 -- HART DYNASTY (TYSON KIDD & D.H. SMITH w/Natalya) vs. THE USOS (JIMMY & JEY USO)

HD started things off in control of the match before Kidd missed with a springboard elbow smash. Mathews said people shouldn't look much into HD's current issues and tension. Split personality Cole is now endorsing Kidd a few weeks after mocking him. But, he's still mocking Smith. The Usos controlled the match, then Smith picked up a conversation with Natalya. He eventually returned to the ring apron and took a tag from Kidd to work on one of the Usos. Smith landed a running powerslam and attempted a pin, but the action broke down. On the outside, Kidd was wiped out with a superkick. Smith turned his attention to Kidd, then walked into a kick to the face. Jey then went up top and landed a Superfly Splash for the pin and the win.

WINNERS: Usos at 3:35. Obviously, the story continues to be on tension with HD, but the Usos looked solid following their Superstars match that no one watched. The crowd isn't reacting to the Usos right now, but they just need time being relatively fresh acts. (*1/4)

3 -- TED DIBIASE (w/Maryse) vs. GOLDUST

DiBiase landed an early slap to add insult to injury. Cole mocked Goldust and cackled wondering how the honeymoon went. Cole used an old Double A line about finding the world's smallest violin to lament Goldust's turn of events. DiBiase continued to dominate while Maryse seemed a bit preoccupied watching ringside. DiBiase slowed the pace while Maryse screamed into the ring. Cole then sarcastically said he can't wait for Lawler to return to commentary.

Meanwhile, Maryse randomly retrieved the Million Dollar Title belt. Aksana then ran down to ringside, slapped Maryse, grabbed the title belt, and took off running. Meanwhile, in the ring, Goldust rolled up DiBiase for the pin and the win. Cole said Goldust (the babyface) "stole one" from DiBiase. Goldust sold confusion over the turn of events as Aksana disappeared to the back. Cole said it's just like a woman to toy with a guy's emotions. More of that misogynistic tone usually reserved for TNA programming.

WINNER: Goldust at 3:26. The match was about fifth on the pecking order of stories to get over here and it wasn't that interesting. Cole's commentary and delusional heel persona just gets more and more grating by the week. It's not interesting, it's not "fresh," it's not entertaining, it's not useful. At some point, WWE has to pull the plug on the character because it's affecting business.

4 -- JOHN CENA vs. DAVID OTUNGA

The bell sounded and Otunga tried to run away, but Cena caught him on the stage and used one of the "Raw in the U.K." props as a weapon. Back in the ring, Cena worked over Otunga and landed a gutwrench suplex. Cena landed a dropkick, which caused Cole to nearly leap out of his suit. Cena then missed with a corner attack and ate the ringpost. A graphic flashed on the screen plugging "Old School Raw" next Monday starting at 8:00 p.m. EST. The crowd then started a dueling chant of "Let's go Cena" and "Cena Sucks." It was interesting they actually cut to a crowd shot showing two people next to each other doing the dueling chant.

Cena made a comeback and did the usual routine, including the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena then dropped Otunga with the Attitude Adjustment. Instead of going for the pin, Cena slapped on the STF and Otunga tapped out with both hands. Afterward, Cena did his full celebration to play to the WWE fans and continue protecting the character while part of Nexus.

WINNER: Cena via submission at 4:02. An expected series of events continuing to present Otunga as the weakest link while giving Cena's fans the Cena they want to see. Just by the book here. (*1/2)

5 -- SANTINO MARELLA vs. SHEAMUS

Back from break, Santino was still in his suit as Sheamus tried to go after him. Cole said the audience won't want to miss this "train wreck." Santino eventually stripped down to his ring gear and the announcers questioned why Santino had his ring gear underneath his clothes. Cole said all WWE stars wear their ring gear under their clothes. Mathews: "How do you know?" Pause. Santino bailed out of the ring to stall for time before Sheamus gave chase. Santino ran over the guardrail to stall, then the Raw GM buzzed again. Cole read from the podium that Santino has two choices. Get back in the ring and compete or be immediately suspended. "Right now?!" Santino asked, as if he were asking a serious question. Mathews suggested Santino respond with a question on how long the suspension could be.

Santino then tried to pump himself up and warmed up the Cobra, but Sheamus absolutely creamed Santino with a sledgehammer blow. Sheamus stomped down on Santino, who then begged off. He then landed a low blow right in front of the ref for a DQ. Santino sold confusion over what he did, then did his celebration routine. Santino's celebration was cut short, as Sheamus blasted Santino with a Brogue Kick to the face. Sheamus wanted the Irish Curse, but John Morrison hit the ring to interrupt. Cole was indignant over Morrison's interjection. Mathews defended Morrison, who smashed Sheamus with a Flying Chuck to the face that sent Sheamus rolling to the floor. Morrison then dragged Santino away from the ring and helped revive him on the way out of the ring.

WINNER: Sheamus via DQ at 3:00. More seeds planted for to a potential Sheamus vs. Morrison match, which could be really good based on the house show reports from over the weekend. Cole's commentary remains so off. Morrison's babyface character is fragile and he needs to be built up as doing admirable things, not torn down for helping the comedy figure. (n/a)
