hehe my actual forum name Starpheonix I thought of myself, I was trying to pick a cool name for my FFXI character and i liked stars, and I thought of Harry Potter so then i came up with Starpheonix ^^

The Star part of my name came from the star cards and Wings from the fact that they often show Sakura with wings and how she sprout wings when she uses the fly card at times.

mine (obviously) came from the manga, ,hack//the legend of the twilight bracelet
at first, it used to be Tsubasa_4ever, i couldn't think other ones, then i read that^ and fell totally in love with it.

so, i came up with, ,hack//kite/shUgo, but it was too long, so i shortened it to hack, then hack.<3.fly

Mine's kind of funny because I'm always saying, "ay mi..." when I'm stressed or weary or whatever... and so I kind of made it into Aymiah.... for my name... And then on Final Fantasy X, instead of faith, they have the Fayth... and I just fell in love with the spelling. Hence, Aymiahfayth

There are two reasons, actually:
1) It is a combination of two birthstones: Emerald and Amethyst
2) Shuichi, my fave character had two eye colors
color violet - in the series
color green - in the OVA
Speculation: using the name of the birthstones as substitute for the color, I got Emerald and Amethyst; then pulled them into a mix...

...and thus: Emethyst!

My last name is Stephenson, my friend and I were going to play D&D one day (so geeky) and i needed a character name. So we anagrammed my last name a bit and got "Senephen" which became senefen to shorten it a bit. No one else used it online so I use it pretty much everywhere.

Somewhere else I named myself "Little Wolf" out of Syaoran obsession, but since our beloved administrator is already a Little Wolf *an older one too* I named myself Lonely Werewolf, out of loneliness, and also because I nicknamed Syaoran as "Little Werewolf" in my unfinished fic.

I found another reason why I had Emethyst as a username

- came from Alexandrite (from Legend of Mana) ; a stone that turns "green" at day and "purple" at night... ^_^

The "wan" or "wanwan" part is from when Fai called Kurogane "Kurowanwan" and I thought it was funny, so I added it to the end of my name. My brother thought it had to do with Obi-Wan Kenobi. It doesn't

it's pretty complicated............

the first three syllables of my name are starting syllables of three anime characters. the last one's an ending syllable for an FFX character's name.

I actually have other usernames. And they all start with the syllable "Sa-". O_O

Real story:

Its actually a name of a server from a game based in Germany.... I owe that game a lot since it gave me a intro to the world of mmorpgs... Although it is a 2d game, it was really fun... So I got the name "Elysia" from that server of that game... As for my avatar here in the boards.. I just added the word "Silvermoon" for a more... "Elven" like effect for my pen name...

(This is also the name i use in other forums as well as the Online Game, ROSE Online (just removed the Silvermoon though, and you got my IGN there XD

Okay. I won't lie. I am a HUGE yaoi fan and fell in love with the pair Tsuzuki Asato and Hisoka Kurosaki from Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness). So I combined the two names and got 'Sokasato'.
