Earlier today, I finished the last episodes of
Kino no tabi (a k a Kino's Journey). Do I love this show or what?
Simply animated, yes, but so wonderfully philosophical and laid-back. Watching it is like drawing a deep sigh of relief.
Then I watched the Kino no tabi Movie -
Life Goes On. So short it might just have been another episode, but very nice nontheless.
Just finished
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I haven't watched the series and I don't think I ever will - way too much violence for my tastes - but I could nevertheless follow the movie, and I must say, this is definitely the most well-animated anime I have ever seen - so very detailed! Apart from that, the experience was so-so. There's no time for character developement in one and a half hour of film; I heavely disliked the face-thing sidekick in D's palm; and the only cool person - the vampire, that is. Who doesn't love vampires? - didn't have nearly enough screen-time.
Show content
I must however admit that that classical romance between Meier and the girl was kind of cute. Too bad she died.
I am also currently watching .hack//SIGN on TV for the third or so time.
