Poll

Believe in love at first sight?

You bet! I met this guy today  .. I'm already planning our wedding!
Sure. It could happen.
I'm not too sure. You never know, though.
Naaah. Sounds too much like a cruddy romance novel.
Pssh, you HAVE to know the person to be in love. That's just silly.

well you don't have to go to college to learn things, sometimes it's quite the opposite!!

and why shouldn't you see him?

That's true, but I do have to go to college if I want to get my teaching degree.

And I can't see him because, well it's a long story. To make it short, he tried to kill me and he lives somewhere else now.  I don't know where.

Not only that, but the administrators ( like SLi or Little Wolf ) wouldn't like to see it either. There are rules here for a reason.

hah. hmmm.. so i guess since vexnet wants to learn more about girls, i should start up a new topic?

why is it that some girls have the tendency to tell EVERYTHING to everyone when they know they shouldn't.. like secrets and stuff?

it just gets me really stressed how girls just keep on talking behind everyone's back and stuff.

Not every girl does that. Some actually keep secrets. If a friend of mine tells me something important and wants me to keep it a secret, I will. Unless it was something serious ( drugs, drinking, etc. ) otherwise I keep my mouth shut. If I told a friend a secret, I'd trust they wouldn't tell anyone.

For those that do, maybe they just like to spend rumors or.. be plain mean maybe. I don't know.

yeah i know. not necessarily all girls do it but like. you know. there are some select girls that just love to spread rumors that you believe are one of your close friends.

experience happened last year. it was bad. i had a friend call me fat and ugly to one of my really close friends. my really close friend told me what the other girl said and i confronted the girl and denied it.

then she said it again, when i was right behind her in the hall. and i just let the friendship go from there.

My thoughts exactly. I've yet to meet a friend who doesn't keep secrets. I don't say much anyway. ^^;

Yeah, it was, but I've gotten over it. I don't have time to worry about things like that.

So we're talking about gossiping now. I could honestly tell you, unless you were trying to kill yourself, or hurt yourself in anyway, I wouldn't tell a secret. The one thing that makes me mad more than anything, if you're a really good friend, I would do just about anything to help you, and I do that with all my "so called friends" but they always end up using me. I really can't stand it.

Also, I have a very low self-esteem, and I will let people use me, but I'm afraid they won't like me if I use them. I wish I was more assertive. Of course I do have one good friend right now. She hasn't used me, yet. I have a hard time trusting people unless they really stick their neck out for me. I've been used too many times, and I won't let it happen again.

I generally don't trust people. I tend to keep thing to myself. That is why I know most stuff about everybody.. I'm like everybody's psychologist (sp). They know I wont tell and that I would never betray them.

I can be dense about trusting people. i usually just blurt out secrets about me anywhere, but i probably wouldn't care. I wouldn't tell anyone else's secrets, because I can't stand seeing someone get hurt, I've gone through it too many times. But even if someone was my really good friend and started to be my enemy, I wouldn't tell their secrets. But I can be a bit dense with telling people my secrets... ehehe.

Um, I have an off topic question. I thought maybe someone might know this.
My brother is proposing to this girl and he wants to get down on one knee. Well, the question is: Does it matter which knee you get down on? I have absolutely no idea. So, girls, what do you think? Anyone's thoughts or opinions on this would be welcomed. Thanks.

i really don't think it matters what knee he goes down on as long as it looks *natural*
