Ahh, the type of friend I hate the most is the "Compliment Fisher"
THey'll be like, "Oh I just hate myself, I have nothing going for me and nobody cares." and it's so obvious that they're just looking for compliments and attention. And you'll hear this chrous of "Awww, you're the best So-in-So! Don't ever say that about yourself! Ya-da-ya-da!"
While I'm screaming in my head "Shuuuuuut uuuup!"
Whenever someone like that starts complaining about their self to me I'm just like, "Meh, whatever floats your boat."

It seems no one talks to me unless they want some attention, so I don't even bother to give it to them.

Agreed 100%!!! That's exactly like that girl I just talked about! She's always all: "I'm so worried about myself! I'm so thiiiin!" The other day, I finally decided to just be an @** about it and say "Well (nameless girl) is WAY skinnier than YOU are, what about her?" And she just shut up and said "Well I'm still too skinny!" and just walked away... Compliment fishers suck HARD..

Have you noticed, hardly anyone on this forum has friends that

a) Treat them well
b) Don't annoy them
c) Don't try to use them

Maybe that's why so many people love this forum....because we can get together to talk without fear of retribution.

My friends treat me well... Very well indeed. But hey, I almost just hang around with one girl in my whole school.
But I have had idiotic "friends" like that too. No more!

Still, on other forums I'm treated like... well, like dirt. And when I just go out people look at me very strangely
(yesh~ They're just jealous of my Tokyo Babylon-outfits!!!

Only my really close friend is the one that treats me well. She doesn't judge me, she listens, gives great advice, and is one of the kindest people I know. It's just the other ones... well... they've changed so much it's like they're strangers.

I feel like cr*p. I feel like disappearing and becoming nothing. I feel like I have no reason to exist. I know it sounds really selfish, but I guess I'm a horrible person. Maybe I'm like air - "I'm around everyone, but no one notices I'm there" That's why CW has become so important in my life. I can be who I really am without being judged or ignored. But... I feel like I'm slipping away from here, too. I'm slipping away from everything in my life.

I think everyone has a point in their life where they just question everything about themselves.
You remind of me of my friend this afternoon, Cherry-chan. She's failing most of her classes and she was in hysterics. sobbing, asking herself why she even bothers.

Ahh, I hate it when people cry, because I don't know what to say to make them feel better so I just sit there and cry myself, haha.

Hehe. But that's a sign of being a good friend. You're a shoulder for your friend to cry on and offer comfort. Sometimes having someone cry with you helps, too. I dunno. Lol.

When a guy cries I think it's kawaii... well, sometimes, it depends on the person.

But when a guy cries the thing that pops up in their head says, "Oh my god he's so emotional... what a girl!" <--- I think that is very unfair and men to say. Guys need to let their emotions out, too, not the way most people think they do, like fighting or swearing or doing drugs or whatever.
